RE: Daniel Penny trial
It took the DA 10 days to actually charge him. This was due to political pressure. No other reason. No new evidence came about during those ten days except from witnesses that were thankful Penny was there. That is what I would be pounding during closing if I were the Defense.

RE: Daniel Penny trial
Trump should announce tomorrow, while the jury is sequestered on deliberations as to avoid interference of course, that Daniel Penny will be awarded the Presidential medal of freedom at his first state of the union address in 2025 for his service in protecting citizens and for standing firmagainst political prosecution

It's New York. Of course the jury will miss this 6 inch putt.

The jury is being instructed right now and will soon be dismissed for lunch and deliberations

The instructions are likely if he's a white conservative and the thug was a black liberal you must vote to convict on all charges after lunch....but don't do it too quickly so it looks like you really considered all of the facts.

LOL, that’s not too far off the mark.

But the thing is, the jury will be deliberating over the kind of sh-t that many non-rich New Yorkers deal with on a daily basis: what to do when a crazy/disturbed person, who may or may not be armed, starts screaming and physically threatens quiet, law-abiding people, including women and children, in the tightly enclosed-space of a subway car without any police or other conventional LEO around to help. Regardless of what their personal sympathies may be, these jurors (I assume 12) know that what they do will have a huge impact on what happens in that city going forward.

"You heard of Mr. Neely's history - you may not use it to determine character"

Am I wrong to feel different about this quote ?

Any reasonable person who was following this so-called "trial" would come to the conclusion that Daniel Penny's actions were completely justified due to the fact Jordan Neely was brandishing a knife with intent to harm and even kill those in that subway car. Neely clearly had intent to use deadly force. Penny acted accordingly. The fact Penny's having to fight to keep himself from going to prison is a testament to how identity politics has overruled common sense in New York. I pray the jury has the common sense to acquit, but I doubt they will. Because "muh ray-sis-em."

**** identity politics and race hustlers like Al Sharpton and Alvin Bragg.

Quote:ou can’t make this up: Dafna Yoran is the Manhattan prosecutor currently throwing the book at Daniel Penny.

In 2019, she gave a reduced sentence to a black man who murdered an asian college professor as he was withdrawing cash from an ATM.

She said that it was under the guise of “restorative justice” and ended up giving him 10 years for manslaughter after he was originally charged with murder.

Now she’s attempting to imprison an innocent man who protected a group of people on the subway.
