A win puts Astate bowl eligible for the first time since 2019, Win for South puts them at 5 wins and avoids a situation where they'd have to beat Texas State in San Marcos to become bowl eligible

As expected, Jags are favored by 10. AState has yet to be favored against an FBS team this season.

We have a pretty terrible record in Mobile recently after practically adopting the city as Jonesboro South during our run of 4 straight bowls there, and early domination in the series with South.

No idea if Jags QB will be able to play this one. If he doesn't, another matchup of True Freshman QB's in a division full of them.

Time to take back Mobile. Ain't gonna be easy. We will see how our kids play on the road!

If Bradley doesn't play, I think you guys get the win here. Lopez is pretty one dimensional. And now that dimension is on tape. Good runner / scrambler, but didn't have much success through the air. Seemed like he was playing with a limited toolset.

TXST doesn’t want to play another 5 win team trying to settle bowl eligibility against them ever again Playing 5-win Troy went about as bad as it could possibly go with self inflicted wounds.

If stAte wins this one I hope USA loses to Marshall so their bowl eligibility is off the table in San Marcos. If stAte loses this one the bobcats are going to get a really pissed off redwolf team giving them their best shot for eligibility next week.

A bad scenario would be USA winning this one, losing to Marshall then giving their best shot against the bobcats to gain eligibility. Lot of bad scenarios for TXST in next 3 games.

We play Marshall the week after you guys. That's the strange thing about this game, we both play the same opponents after this. They host Marshall and go to Texas State. We host Texas State and go to Marshall.

I wonder if Steve Campbell is available to coach this game?. Beating Arkansas State was single-handedly the only thing he could do well.

I think stAte should start doing their uniform reveals with shots through and on a combine.

Tall challenge for Astate. The Jags have pummeled us the last two games by a combined 62-16.

If Bradley doesn’t play I would think that would be a huge break for the Red Wolves

I’m not sure. I think Carter Bradley is a game-time decision. If he’s unable to go I would think we’d see Desmond Trotter. But I also thought we’d see Desmond Trotter against Troy.

Lopez is a 65% passer averaging 6 yards per carry. Not really sure how that’s 1 dimensional. We did limit the playbook last week though, he’s a true freshman making his first collegiate start on 4 days of practice.
