Soccer news has been pretty quiet...

Non-conference matches at Texas, home vs Texas A&M, and home vs Xavier.
We get the toughest conference opponents at home (SMU and Memphis).

The roster hasn't been updated yet. There was also never a news release of this year's signees. Anyone have insight on the incoming class? Haven't heard any news of any big transfers. Not sure what to think of this year's team.

Conference Tournament in Tampa looks like a Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday format with off-days between rounds. Oct 31-Nov 5.

Yes why so quiet. Pretty poor by the athletic dept and the head coach. Why isnt he promoting his team in the AAC?

Seems to be a bit of a rebuilding year as we lost a lot of key seniors.

Only one goalkeeper on the roster too - that could be an issue.


eta - guess I should add that perhaps the roster will change with some grad transfers. But barring any other additions, we are relatively young.

Dont understand this. "Brumlow, a midfielder, played for the Houston Dash. Last year, she helped them to the Frontier Conference championship,...."' Is this the Houston Dash professional team or must be a Houston Select team of the same name?

Maybe all our sports should not advertise our recruits to prevent other universities stealing our recruits.

I don't see what difference that would make. There's other sources of that information, including the recruits themselves.

4 new grad transfers announced - all are significant adds.

A goalkeeper from Mississippi State, a forward from Hofstra, and midfielders from Charlotte and Duke. I wouldn’t be surprised if all start right away (maybe not the goalie, but the other three perhaps?)

#9 TCU beat Rice , 3-0, in an exhibition last night.

Rice picked to finished 4th in West division in AAC.
