I'm sure the B12 knows where they stand with all the PAC schools by now.

Dont think there's any Colorado fans saying "yeah add Memphis, that will be great for us." 'I wanna join now. Sign me up." Nah.

I'm sorry but when exactly did Colorado become such a hot property?

When is the last time Colorado has been in serious contention for a national championship? They have pretty much been dead weight since the moment they join the conference. And they were pretty much dead weight when they were in the Big 12 previously.

They are a bottom feeder athletic program that is getting its 15 minutes of fame by changing conferences yet again potentially.

Is Gene Bartow still the coach?

No--neither is DANA KIRK--who was/is the best coach we ever had

From the Denny Crum coaching tree.

They really are not super attractive in terms of past athletic performance. But they do represent the flagship school for a fairly high population state that borders the current B12 footprint. Arizona is similarly positioned. Its not like any conference other than the Big10 or SEC is going to be luring perennial powers like Alabama or Ohio State to their ranks anytime soon. Even if they are not among the superpowers of college sports, a current P5 state flagship school is still a pretty solid "get" for a conference (as they tend to represent a relatively solid media draw for their home state regardless of performance).

Only coach to take them to the Final Four, according to the NCAA.

Nebraska made it over Colorado and Oregon. It was one of the most hotly-debated years for #2 and ESPN did a famous "B-C-S....is such a mess" special on the 3-team debate.

Texas entered the bowls #9 and was shipped to the Holiday Bowl.

The Big XII had 4 top-10 teams that year, which was how a 2-loss Colorado nearly made the NCG.

They visited Memphis the city for the Liberty Bowl.

But did they meet with Memphis the school? McMurphy has the best track record in realignment, so whatever he says is what I'll believe.
