Hard to claim the moral high ground on firing someone with cause when you replace him with Rick Pitino.

You know...we do have a staff position open. He could always cash in at SJ, and come home, and help coach up some 40 minutes of Hades with all that athleticism we have now.

I know, I know, it would never work. I don't think our sideline could handle that many egos on one bench. But it's not a bad idea.

It wouldnt work because even if Mike was going to say "Screw it, i'll be an assistant for a year" He would A) do it somewhere that pays their assistants a hell of a lot more than we do. and B) (and of more import to his current situation) He's not going to say "I'm mad as hell at my most recent employer for forcing me to sick my lawyers on them to get the money owed me. To pass time while that process plays out, why don't I go back to work for the last employer I had to sick my lawyers on to get the money owed to me?"

I missed the info on us owing Mike Anderson money. Could someone explain that?

Could well be, I'm in no way authoritative, and a Sweet Sixteen bonus is still an NCAA tournament bonus.

Also, what the bonus was for really doesn’t matter. The man had a contract, he met a goal in said contract, and the BOT’s tried to get out of it. It’s a terrible, and needless, thing to do.
