How will Fundraising be Impacted?
Mizzou has hired away Blair DeBord. Not sure who will replace him at U of M and how fundraising for the athletic enhancements, etc. will be impacted.

Blair is a big loss. It’s sad that we can’t keep good people. But it’s the sign of the times.

If you read the linked article you'll see that he's moved around to quite a few jobs in a very short time.

He may be impressive as you say but that tells me he was never going to be anywhere for very long before he moved on. Almost like he's just trying to quickly build a resume.

We need guys who WANT to be here that can plan for20 years down the road but we also need the energy of up and comers who have talent and ambition to move things forward

It's the natural career progression of moving up in the ranks. I get it. I'm sure his goal is to be the AD one day and each step in his career is leading him to that. Can't blame him one bit. He's done great things for the baseball program in his short time at Memphis and I truly hope the University gets someone else in the door to replace him who also sees the value in baseball and understands what the program needs to get to where Coach Jackson is taking it. I think we're already doing a great job with basketball and football, so now let's bring along the other facilities and sports to get that P5 bid!

need guys like Bob Winn that are alums and have a tie to the area so they can plan things that take longer than 3 monts to pay off... RC was an outsider that just wanted a paycheck and perks..no reason to rehash everything about those two... need a balance of Tiger fans/ Locals and abitious "outsiders"
