And indefensible.

I know that was Crappy refereeing.

But worse team play. How do the Tigers lose that game?

I hate to say it was given away. Players not willing to check their egos.

There was a clear path to the sweet sixteen and just decided to run off the road.

OMG

OMG

It was right there for them. It's a bad loss. Jokingly bad loss.

This one smelled bad from the beginning. Never felt like a team playing together like they did in the AAC tourney. A whole different vibe tonight.

At the beginning, there was an awful lot of standing & watching & waiting for KD to go one on one.

I mean seriously— the team had their hand on the doorknob, was in the house, and just needed to shut the door. But then they all walk out of the house and start arguing about who is going to lock it up. And the other team just walks right in to our house and locks us out.

There was no way we weren’t going to the sweet sixteen if we just stayed inside and locked the door.

This. Lock the thread. This one is going to hurt on what could have been.

Some of the players were like stage fright.. they were not prepared for this game.. McCadden was the biggest one.. Franklin was a no show either.

KD had a total meltdown after he got injured.. He was not the same and committed that terrible turnover that cost us the game.

KD had it for first 10 to 12 minutes of the game. It was like he was hiding behind his man on the wing and watching McCadden and Lawson try to school. That's how we got down 10 to start

Exactly, it was like he was making a statement. Bad time to be feeding an ego.

I thought that at first too but then it started looking like there was something else going on. It was almost like he was saying "OK, you guys go score like I do while I just stand here and watch, let's see how you like it". It was very immature and cost us.

I said in another thread I thought KD was the best guard to ever suit up here and I still believe that but he really hurt us badly last night. I hate it ended like that for him and us. There sure appeared to be some bad juju going on between him and his team mates.

And Williams, he was also a no show at first.

I could almost entertain the idea that this game was thrown in some way. It was a sad act of self destruction if not. It was just a really weird way to end a season that was peaking so well at the right time.

Congress needs to be investigating

College sports and organized gambling

Officials should be forced to address the press post game
Just like the coaches and players

There were clearly some bad calls against Memphis.. but we had this game.. We shot ourselves in the foot at the end.

Once KD had the ball at the end, he should have never been looking to pass the ball. They were going to foul in another 1-3 seconds, shocked they didn't foul earlier.

Lee Cassell who called the tech for flopping on Kendrick Davis @ Cincinnati with the no call when Davis was undercut last night just doesn't seem to smell right. Still do not understand how they could refuse our timeout call or put time back on a shot clock in that situation, much less why double techs were not assessed for shoving..

From what I saw, when KD went up for his 3 point shot that he turned his ankle on, Malcom had is back to the basket and was walking slowly away from the hoop, kind if like he was out for a stroll. No urgency, no positioning for a rebound, not in the moment (it looked like it to me). He was just kinda wandering around. At the time, I thought that was kinda unusual. But then again, that Malcom.
