0.6 seconds? What is the rule
I remember there was a point where you could only tip a shot.... I've seen .8 called barely enough time to catch and shoot... but .6 to hit a 2 later ruled a 3??? Seems improbable

I lost alot of money on this game so I'm sick to my stomach on multiple levels. The above.. plus the Davis injury... plus the turnover late, then to regain possession and be ignored on a timeout call... then for them to hit... just unlucky as F%@k

shades of the Kansas championship game.
Derrick Rose hit a 3...several back and forth possessions for both teams that took over a minute and a half or so??? and they went back and reviewed it.
If there is a question about the shot...stop play RIGHT THEN and review it.\
Don't let it affect the outcome of the game.

I agree but the refs probably indicated to the desk that a review of the shot was needed at next stoppage. And that's what happened.

I believe it is .4 seconds to catch and shoot now.
Regardless, adding time to the shot clock is not a reviewable play. And even then we went how many minutes before they gave FAU the extra point?

Yep.

Anyone remember the Derek Fisher shot in the NBA? .4 seconds.

That 40 second period when Williams picked up his 3rd and 4th foul - both phantoms fouls - was a turning point.

Oh he fouled. He committed probably 5 others that weren’t called.
It’s how he plays.

Remember exactly where I was when it happened. A thing of beauty.

RE: 0.6 seconds? What is the rule
Art. 19. In any period, when the game clock displays 10ths of seconds and play
is to be resumed by a throw-in or a free throw when 3/10ths (.3) of a second or
less remains on the game clock, a player may not gain control of the ball and
attempt a try for a field goal. Such player can only score a field goal by means
of a tap of a pass or of a missed free throw.

anything above .3, is really up to the officials

i have seen some slow time keepers

Can't make you feel better. I think there was actually less time (refs missed it), maybe .4 sec left & I think the clock started late too. But to your point, I think .4 or less requires a tip only.
