Seems like they loaded the field with a bunch of p5 schools that don't belong in tournament. I expect more upsets. Shame they matched us with FAU.

San Diego St is having an issue with Charleston.

4 teams in, and by 8:30pm tonite they may be down to 0.

Right. How have they gotten so much support in the polls?!

SDSU barely hung on to win, so the MWC gets 1 team out of 4 into the 2nd game, and 0-1 in the NIT.

Wash rinse repeat. Its like this every freaking year with them.

I just watched the final 5 seconds, and now I know what you are talking about. hoo boy was that bad.

That guy was on the National Championship team too but now that’s all he will be remembered for.

I didn't watch the game. I had only seen that last series where he threw it away.

After watching these highlights he seemed to play pretty good... some really nice dishes.

That last play... they're playing ahead with possession. You know Furman is going to press. Kid was double-teamed. None of his teammates came to him.

The highlight doesn't show if the inbounds was to the corner or if the kid got the pass and dribbled to the corner. I would hope he didn't do that.

I get why he threw it away, trying to avoid the 5 second call. He panicked.

But it probably would've been better to take the turnover and then put pressure on Furman as they inbounded the ball. You would've had your defense ready.

But all in all... glad Furman won!

Chalk all day long to this point. I don't think I can recall a tournament with fewer 1st round upsets (about 1/2 way through day 2 right now)
