I agree with you. There is nothing like the passion and intensity of college football. Gotta be a special year for the Memphis Tigers.

You know I'm a huge Tigers football fan. Everyone knows that. I tried to watch that. I got halfway through and lost interest. I just don't like his com skills. He talks for 27 minutes and doesn't say anything.

Some interesting things: Tulane and SMU are spending big NIL money on football and getting lots of transfers. He expects Seth will take a big step forward this year. They've brought in some big experienced guys on the o-line which should improve the run game and pass protection for Seth. He likes our defense and expects it to be good.

Man, I'm just trying to eat some very hot buffalo wings without any napkins. You oughta consider opening up a psychic shop.

Nope, the Memphis Tigers football team is about to begin spring practice. The NCAA only allows 15 practices in the spring for football. It is a time when we get to see players compete for starting spots on the roster, such as the new transfers who came in like big o-lineman Xavier Hill from LSU and the speedy receivers Demeer Blankumsee and Tauskie Dove, as well as very talented younger guys who have been on the roster but have developed and might become starters this year such as linebacker Andrew Jones. It's a very exciting time and a very big deal for college football programs all across the USA.

I hear you. This year we also got a new o-line coach though, which might have been the problem.

I'm hoping he has a better start here than at his last job.
The hire seemed so underwhelming.
Still...I'll give him a shot.

I honestly have no idea what he was talking about - presumably not my lunch. He seems to get mad whenever anyone talks about football on here. Must be tough living in a country where football is the most popular sport by a landslide and getting mad whenever anyone talks about it.

No doubt. If you don't want to talk about football, DON'T OPEN THE THREAD...

I'll believe the excitement when I see it on the field. Not in a press conference.

Ike’s very happy with the receivers and looking forward to separation and the DEEP BALL
Sources tell Ike we may add at least two more quality transfers

There will be another round of players entering the portal and transfers coming in after spring practice. This is just the way it is now.

After two disappointing seasons I think it is fair to be skeptical. But I get excited about football no matter what.

I seriously don't understand how this bothers people??? Somehow I'm capable of discussing spring football practice and also watching the basketball game on the same day. What is the problem exactly?
