I'm going to remember jelly shooting tons of threes, Gaines making some poster dunks on folks and us getting clowned in the CUSA championship game.

Not the 25 wins or whooping UNT after they beat us 3 times in a row or anything meaningless like that.

They are definitely better tonight and we sure did help them

Unfortunately very similar to our 2019 CUSA Football Championship game against a very good FAU team.

That’s the sad thing. FAU is better than us, but I did not think that they were much better than us, if better than us at all. This was Our worst game of the season in the biggest moment of our season.

Being destroyed in the glass tonight didn’t help for sure. I can’t recall many games were we just got cleaned up on the boards like this

Embarrassing bordering on humiliating

Rebounding is purely hustle and hard work. We showed no heart or desire tonight. They absolutely creamed us in the hustle stats. Which is mind boggling, given that this team has so many experienced players and such an experienced coach. You could expect them to come out and lose a hard fought game against a very good opponent, but we just didn’t even show up.

We came to Frisco to beat North Texas, FAU came to win the championship.

This was not our worst game of the season. This was much more a case of a team exerting its will on us. I don’t think this was a case of us beating ourselves. FAU playing so well prevented us from getting anything going on offense. Give them credit.

Subbing in the rest of the bench. This game is over.

UAB sports crumbles with even the smallest amount of spotlight. I think what makes it worst is that the cubbard is so bare after this season and hard to have much in the way of expectations for basketball (and likely Football as well).

Did we just play ourselves out of the NIT? Tons of big name "P5" schools will be in it and a lot of 1 seeds from mid/low majors lost in their conference tournament

We are not dancing because of what happened in January and we didn’t have a good plan tonight and they were better tonight in all phases.

Of course it was.

I gave them credit. I’ve said they are a very good team. Did you not witness us getting beat to every loose ball and rebound though? That is 100% on us.

They definitely played very well, but we gift wrapped them the game with our worst effort of the entire season.

I agree.

We were out rounded by 17. Humiliating effort.

Or people can feel how they want to feel. Its okay to be disapointed that we were embarrassed and wasted what should/could have been a special season. Don't wallow in it and move on to the next thing, but not everyone is devoid of emotion like some of you would like to act.

I was hoping CUSA would be a 2-bid league as we finally leave this hell conference, but now I wish upon Judy that they stay a 1-bid league for eternity.

Watching other conference tournaments, both similar mid-majors and smaller mid-majors and then watching our setup is straight up embarrassing.
I'm surprised Judy isn't doing donuts in front of the Star with her toy Jeep.
