We gotta stop blaming other people when mad about the officiating. Some misdirected anger here. I’m no ODU fan, but come on. ODU’s coach doesn’t need to answer for the officiating. Not her job. I kinda like how she comes across as genuine. What can she do besides laugh at how horrible the officiating is? She probably catches a fine if she criticizes them. And I’m sorry, the Troy team/coach/fans’ feelings have nothing to do with her.

She wasn't laughing at the officiating but laughing at the fact that she won with 6 players. She literally made a joke about that technically there were only 5 players on the court and one out of bounds. Not a time to joke. It is a time to give a serious answer. Her and her players giggling about it is a terrible look.

Maybe I am just too damn old but you got to win and lose with class. With the position she is in, she needs to learn how to react in those situations.

I understand & agree with you. I would cringe if my coach did that. However, I think the overreaction to that (by some) is still out of line. Mad about the referees missing the call? That’s fair. Express that. I’m just seeing lots of people who have out of control emotions talking about nonsense like ODU put an extra player out there on purpose. Those people need a mental health evaluation.

Like I said before. These situations are great fuel for rivalries.

Imagine a home game for Troy against ODU next regular season!

Agreed. Sucks for Troy, but they’ll be talking about this for a few seasons. Who’d a thunk that we’d emerge with a Troy-ODU beef from this tournament? That’s March Madness!

Exactly. Could be Troy's highest attended WBB game ever.

Either way, Troy fans will get over it. It might be nice if this turns into a bitter rivalry. I'm sure ODU wouldn't mind either. Every game will have intrigue.

It might even help Troy work even harder in the off-season. Gotta make lemonade with lemons.

Watch the whole clip, and not the one edited by Troy fans. Y'all are making a lot of it nothing with that video clip.

I don't know if she's unstoppable but ODU sure as hell can't do it.

Thank you Monarch fans. I’ve aged a few years this weekend. Great season by ODU. The Virginia schools are the Beasts of the East in Sun Belt women’s hoops.

Hell of a game, for a while I thought we might not have to sweat it out but should've known you guys wouldn't go down without giving us a scare. Some big clutch moments on both sides down the stretch.

Great to have the rivalry back in conference. Even better to come out on top 03-lmfao Now we can relax for a couple hours before it's back to shaving years off our lives.

Sun Belt Women's Basketball Tournament
Two of the most storied programs in the Commonwealth. I remember when ODU was the Guage and were always the ones winning. Amazing how the tide has turned.

I’m rooting for a JMU/TXST final in both mens and womens.

Just because.

I'm pulling for JMU, simply because they would receive a higher seeding in the NCAA Tourney.
