Charlotte has the five seed locked up.

UAB will play the winner of the UTSA/No. 6 seed game.

1) Rice will finish 6 if they beat FIU (The Owls swept WKU)
2) WKU will finish 6 if they beat NT and Rice loses to FIU
3) FIU will finish 6 if they beat Rice and WKU loses to NT
4) La Tech will finish 6 if they beat FAU and if Rice and WKU lose and FIU wins (La Tech will then be the only one of the four to have beaten FAU).

so we want Rice to win. That would be the easiest way for us to advance.

I don't think this is totally correct.

1. do you know how the final tie breakers work out? Bc if we beat Charlotte and Rice wins, they would be 1-1 H2H, and have the same conference and overall record (18-13).

3. If FIU beats rice and WKU loses, all 3 will have the same conference record. Rice would have a better overall record than FIU. Rice has beaten WKU twice.

If we beat Charlotte and Rice wins they're tied, but Charlotte wins the tiebreaker I believe. They're 1-1 H2H and then it goes to their record against the teams in front of them. Both are 0-2 vs FAU, both are 1-1 against UNT, both would be 0-2 vs UAB. Tiebreaker comes to record vs MT - Charlotte is 1-1 and Rice is 0-2 so Charlotte gets the 5 seed.

I think the only real question is who will get the 6 seed. If Rice wins vs FIU, it's theirs. But if FIU beats Rice, do they move into the 6th seed?

i want to play rice , i dont want to play Wk , not to worry about FIU but I will prefer ,,,i will prefer utsa :)

When they want to they can make some great video clips, but this is just laziness.

I think UTSA may very well be our opponent. They have played very well the last 8-9 games, certainly better than their 11th place standing and record would indicate. Wouldn’t surprise me at all for them to win their 1st game.

They have not played like the 11th placed team down the stretch. Playing their best basketball of the season.

I don't think so because they have a better overall record.

I think the tiebreakers are conference record, head to head record, overall record, then the record against the best teams to get the "best win."

Someone please correct me if I am wrong on the above tiebreakers... Trying to find information on it is maddening.

Looking forward to this game. This will complete my journey to all 14 arenas of CUSA 3.0.
