Wade and Pitino are out of reach... Beard might take it...if only to rehabilitate his image...as Calipari did at Memphis.

RE: Ole Miss Basketball coach fired.
A friend of mine was told by David Kellum (ole miss radio guy) that the school has no idea who they’ll go after. Apparently they don’t keep a list in their pocket at all times.
A dollar says they come after Penny if we beat Houston next Sunday.

No REPEAT No college team is coming after Penny.

He won't leave the Tigers for another college job.

And he won't leave for the majority of NBA jobs.

I agree.
That doesn’t mean the phone will not ring. That’s all I’m saying.
They’re lost. Heck, they’re even talking about bringing Kennedy back.

RE: Ole Miss Basketball coach fired.
I don’t think Ole Miss wants the embarrassment (in their eye) of being rejected by a Memphis coach. They won’t pursue Penny.

RE: Ole Miss Basketball coach fired.
another name from the past

Coach Donnie Tyndall has led the Chipola JC Indians to the JC Final Four in each of his first two seasons and currently, at 27-2, Chipola can win another Panhandle Conference with a win over Tallahassee CC on Saturday.. The Panhandle Conference is one of the top JC conferences in college basketball and Tyndall has an 80-13 overall record in leading the Indians in the third season. Tyndall is one of the top basketball minds inside the game on offense, defense, and all the depth of knowledge inside the game’s intangibles.

That can't be right ---he has only been a head coach for 6 years--------he doesn't have near enough experience to be one of the top BB minds ------I mean somebody with the experience of X/JUDAS/BENEDICT/FREDO would coach circles around him-------if you don't believe me just read this site-----only 6 years is not enough to know the game---he should probably hire an assistant with more experience to teach him and lead him

He has 9 years , morehead state, southern miss and Tennessee
But he still has a show cause until 2025-26 season,
So he will have to stay in JC

recruiting area is mostly Memphis. Yes you can build a winner at Ole Miss with 3* talent from Memphis...but it would be difficult for him to replicate his LSU success there...and that is what they would be wanting to see him pull off.
