I have never heard of the dude who first tweeted it. Does anyone know who he is? Does he have any credibility? Not saying it's not true, maybe I am just uninformed and he's a major insider on the tweet-box. But anyone could tweet something like that and we would run with it.

No clue who that is but we know for a fact Dilfer is closely tied to Nike and we are about to be done with UA so makes good sense

I wondered if anyone else remembered that lol! It's not easy to mistake Sunshine Yellow as Old Gold.

Don't really have a preference on who makes our uniforms, all I care about is what the fan merch looks like. I have a great looking UA UAB Army ROTC Polo but I've never seen anything similar for sale to the public. This has been a constant complaint of mine, regardless of who is making our gear.

I guess this means the Children's Harbor uniforms will either be changed or remixed too...

It’s a personal decision. Is a Nike deal good for the school? Maybe (I have no idea). But it’s bad for me and my future UAB wardrobe (which I don’t expect you or UAB to take into account)

That’s why I put rumor. I noticed the bookstore has been getting Nike gear in, so I imagine it has some legs.

Just win.

The rumor for some time has been that we would go Nike. As was said upstream, UA is getting out of the business and TD has an existing relationship with Nike. Seems logical.

The current hat selection is awful. I'd like to see a deal with New Era, too.

Ditto.

Switching to Nike would be HUGE for UAB. I can't stress enough how much being Under Armour is a disadvantage in recruiting.

Is Under Armour that bad?

Under armor is just largely irrelevant to college students age group
