Article says that the alleged wrongdoing happened between Dec 21-23. My first thought was that he hacked some of TCU's plays/etc. How is that even a crime though?

Several police cars were at his home. This wouldn’t be football related. Probably child pornography.

Apparently he was hacking email in the campus football facility? I suppose that's one way to fire a coach without paying him.

Yea, he accessed someone else’s email. Could be a blackmailing thing. If it was more nefarious he would already be in jail.

Let’s not be accusing someone of doing something completely disgusting without proof.

Probably involved some sort of relationship with a coed or Michigan staff member, and then trying to get into their email to erase records of any conversations. That's bad enough (especially for a married 39 year old with 3 kids), but that's probably the most likely explanation.
