4/29/2022 - Drexel 2023 SF Justin Edwards (6-7, 165, 4★) has trimmed his list, and removed Drexel from consideration.

Not many. And it will be up to the coaches to replenish via the portal. Everyone in the portal can't all go to a power 5 school. There's going to be a trickle down effect, and the best mid-major coaches will be able to grab the best of the rest.

As of now, looks like the current Dragon scholarship players consist of Oden Jr, Williams and Terrence Butler. According to Verbal Commits, Justin Moore, Shane Blakeney, and Kobe Magee have committed.

None of these were surprising. So not much has changed. It would still be really nice to be hearing us adding folks. To me with how many players are entering the portal each year, there should be shorter leashes with coaches on rebuilding. To me it would appear easier to rebuild now than it has in the past due to availability. But who knows. Its all a mess. We were a very upper classman-laden team so we knew their would be a drop off from last season into this coming one. It is why the average play was disappointing much of last season.

Tre Brown is moving onto school No. 4 in his college career. Crazy times.

Not shocked by Atsüren. Played all of 4 minutes in a Drexel uni.

You would think they would want to stay because there was openings

As far I know, Okros is still here and House now is scholarship as well. Word is that Coletrane is coming back as well. If that is the case, we have 4 open scholarships.

Melik Martin has no eligibility remaining. Butler has 1 year left. He could return but all indications are he will not.

Good luck to Tre. Not sure how that is a good fit at all, he might get even less time there than he did here.

Spotted on Reddit: Apparently some ODU podcasters claim Drexel screwed over Tre Brown in his transfer.

I couldn't tell which episode it even came up in, so dunno if it's legit or what.

Not that I don't trust ODU podcasters not to embellish the truth... but I suspect there is more to the story than just what that story indicates. NCAA restrictions are a mess, though, they're designed to give teams a disproportionate amount of power.

So what's the story with Brown? I see that he's listed on ODU but not playing. Is he forced to redshirt this year? Seems weird for a guy who is playing for his fourth college team. even though he's only played 1 year plus one game according to the stats.
