Yeah. Haven't seen them this year or heard anything about them. Sucks how far they've fallen.
Wonder if with the exodus of UC, Houston, UConn, and UCF if they are regretting coming to the AAC. Obviously the money is better than the MWC but next year’s conference won’t even be recognizable compared to the one they joined five years ago.
They may be more regretting the loss of Gregg Marshall. They are 38-27 since. Next year they will be in the type of conference they were meant to be in.
Yeah...thats about it. They are likely quadrupling their conference disbursements, so they aren't regretting a thing.
They may be a bit as they are no longer the big fish, but they have a chance to return to that in the near future. Honestly they should be trying to rebuild back to being the big fish and hope to dominate the AAC and hope to escape to the Big East in the future. Still making more money now, so that is the big deal.

Wichita is not going to the Big East. Their arena was half-full last night and that was a bad Wichita team beaten by a not very good Cincinnati team. Their future games vs. FAU, ECU, UTSA, North Texas, et al., are not likely to have fans rushing to buy tickets. Remember that they have to compete against KU and K-State for eyeballs. With the Big XII being the nation’s best basketball conference, Wichita State is not in a good spot competitively going forward.

Wes has gotten better as an offensive coach
From what I have gathered, the big money donors have been withholding big donations due to the firing of Marshall. They see their issue as a coaching problem but don’t have the money to make the change.

Yeah, culturally WSU and the Big East is not a fit. If they add in the near future it would probably be Saint Louis.

I’d imagine they’ll be in the AAC at least until the contract with ESPN is renegotiated.
