yeah, I don't see his 6 plays having a lot of success there

Also the MWC is harder than CUSA so I wonder what they saw in him besides being a good person

This. Vincent did what was asked of him and appears to have left with grace and without trying to tear the program apart. He has done nothing wrong and deserves to have another job where ever the opportunity presents itself.

Of course he should go on and have another job with grace. He did what was asked of him.

But there's no doubt that Vincent would be leaving with Clark if Clark had another job and this move basically confirms for me that Clark is not going to be getting a HC this carrousel season (not that it wasn't obvious already).

I agree. I got to know Coach Vincent this season, and he really is a great guy. I’ve had more one-on-one conversations with BV this past season than our previous head coaches combined. I’ll make the trip to Auburn in 2024 to root for BV & staff, if they’re still there. That would be the same day as our game at Arkansas.

Like a lot of you I felt. Change was in order, BUT I will be eternally grateful to BV for keeping the program together. I wish him and anyone who goes with him to his next stop only the best, and I will pull for them to be successful-unless they are playing us

Coach V is first class. I hope he is successful whenever he lands, unless they are playing the Blazers.

For the record, my comments about Vincent getting fired at New Mexico is more of a commentary on the Lobos than Vincent himself.

He'll be on the staff of a head coach that is 7-24 in 3 years at the program in his first head coaching job. If he takes this, it's going to be a tough gig.

Dylan Hopkins will not be our starting quarterback under Dilfer and he knows it.

How do you know?

Dylan Hopkins was a stud dual threat quarterback who led Maryville HS to the TN State Championship his senior year. Dylan ran like a deer in HS.
He is a talented quarterback who should really blossom under Coach Dilfer.

I agree with everything you just wrote. I also fully anticipate he will be with Clark wherever that is next year.

Yeah, it says a lot that Vincent exited with such grace. Such a great dude. Very happy for him that he got to go out with a win in a bowl game, UAB’s third ever, with the players who considered him family. You truly couldn’t have asked for a better handled exit by BV. Can’t say he didn’t give it his all

Who knows? BV just might be what that program needs right now and I'll be pulling for him.
