You are trying to have it both ways. I said I thought Williams is the best player--you countered about Williams always being in foul trouble---I then asked does that disqualify him as being the best player-----now you bring up Dorsey LOL----again I ask -does often getting in foul trouble disqualify him as being the best player ? --Does Davis' horrible assist to turnover ratio disqualify him ?

I think that Williams is our most important player. I thought Dorsey was our most important player in both 2006-7 and 2007-8. I think Davis is our best player now. I thought Supreme Bae was our best player those 2 years (I probably misspelled Bae).

If you mean CDR--then I agree with you

Maybe I should start referring to him as "The Basketball Player formerly known as CDR"

Don’t get me started on him. The fact that his number is not retired compared to several that are or will be soon is a travesty.

He's back to answering to CDR now.
He says he was offered a retirement a few years ago - but said if you don't retire the whole team, then don't retire me.
Recently, I believe he said he's okay with being retired now.

I wonder if that team will ever be honored. Hopefully in 2028

He is obviously our best player. He shoots a lot...he scores a lot. He also draws defenders and passes a lot.

We will just have to agree to disagree on Davis being our best player

You seem to know who our best player is— why don’t you share?

Just my opinion---no need to be sarcastic ---but I think Williams---by the way Lomax has out played Davis thus far this year --and its not even close IMO---------if some of the other guys shot as many times per game as Davis-----they would be the leading scorer -----when you shoot as many times a game as Davis--its almost a given to lead in scoring-----but that doesn't make him the best on the team IMO

at least you have a name in mind , there are always people that like to feel clever by picking a non leading person to the the lead.04-cheers

We've seen what he can do, over the last 2 games, when he is IN the game and not in foul trouble. But can he stay out of foul trouble? I've not seen him do that consistently over 2+ years now.

Does that disqualify him being the best player ?

Memphis was beating Kansas by 9 points when Joey Dorsey fouled out with 2:00. And then lost the game without him. Does that mean that he was the best player on that team?

No but it does mean we needed Joey in the final 2 minutes.

If team is honored it should be when Kentucky plays the Tigers in the Forum. Put it on Cal, he has to give us a home game.

Yeah, Imma have to agree with this. For now. It's really not a fair comparison, though. They are meant to do different things.

For once, I agree with Dane Bradshaw. Davis is our best player. Deandre might be our most important player. Might be.

Makes me wonder if Dane peaked at this board in his game prep work.

The ankles are going to be an issue all year, I'm afraid. But KD is showing an ability to play through it for the big games at least. All those short shots from the past 2 games went in the basket today.

He's the same guy who won AAC player of the year last season. He takes a lot of shots & makes a lot of plays - some nights more productive than others. But we have no one like him, not even close, when he plays like he did against Auburn.
