Does Davis have to sit out the 1st half of the Auburn game?
I don't have a subscription to either local newspaper, so if they addressed this there, I missed it.

Since Davis was ejected in the 2nd half does he have to sit out the first half against Auburn? If so, this is a serious mental error by our best player and potentially very costly.

Even Penny didn't know when asked last night after the game.

Ejections in basketball are pretty rare.

I've found that yahoo sometimes posts the CA for free.

I think it has to do with how the referee words his after game report to the league/NCAA. If he labeled what KD did a “fight” he would have to sit out a half. But apparently he did not. Also might explain why right after the game Penny did not know.

Yep, Wolo said it during the postgame show but I think you're right. Seems like a weird gray area personally but as long as officials (not sure if Wolo meant actual game officials or like conference officials?) don't deem it a "fight" its just the DQ for that game.

"But the team could have been without him for Saturday's game at No. 11 Auburn, had the officiating crew determined Davis took part in a "fight." According to a Tigers' spokesperson, however, Davis will not serve any suspension and will be available for Saturday's game (4 p.m., ESPN2)."

Next three games will tell us a lot about what this team is. 2-1 would be nice but even 1-2 works if the losses are really close. 0-3 and... well.....

He is obviously our best player. He shoots a lot...he scores a lot. He also draws defenders and passes a lot.

Exactly. The reason Kennedy and other guys are getting good shots is because the D is jumping on KD when he gets the ball or trying hard as heck to make sure he doesn't even get the ball. Penny even said on postgame that KD is frustrated because he's having to work harder and the team is actually succeeding getting him better looks he just is struggling to finish. He's in a slump but he's too good to stay in it too long. I know the other poster is just trolling but if anybody thinks he's not the most important player on this team they need to step away from whatever they're snorting.
