According to the website, looks like we have 3 analysts.

I’d love to see us bump into the P5 ish stag where we have 10-15 analysts that can help us game plan more effectively for future matchups and such. People don’t realize these big schools staffs outnumber the entire roster

I would love to see Dr. (yes, he's a Dr. now!) Jhun Cook return. Character matters.

SOURCE: Ohio State QC Miguel Patrick is expected to become the new defensive line coach at UAB under coach Trent Dilfer. Patrick won one state title as a HS head coach in Georgia; and two more as a DC.

According to footballscoop.com, he will be an analyst:
https://footballscoop.com/news/an-update...-uab-staff

On the defensive side of the ball, Dilfer is bringing another Ohio State staffer in Miguel Patrick. Patrick, who worked in a defensive quality control role for the Buckeyes, will be a defensive analyst for Dilfer and the Blazers.

Kyle Tatum still out recruiting and being the DL also makes you wonder.

Assistant coaches do change position from time to time.

Rush Propst was a analyst for one season. (2019)

We currently have 2 analysts listed on the staff directory.

247Sports says hired as DL coach (source could be Feldman, though)

I have a friend who has worked with Coleman and knows him well, and says he is a great coach, and players love to play for him. Also, that he was instrumental in getting Spencer Rattler to go to South Carolina.

He said he will be the “QB coach and offensive recruiting coordinator.”

As a UAB fan with Tennessee ties I'm certainly glad! Rattler scorched UT

Would have liked to see Will Friend return since he was on Harsin's staff. Don't know if he was being kept by Freeze or not

Don’t want to be “that guy” but color me anxious and underwhelmed. So many offensive hires thus far and a lot of “analysts.” Mortenson was either the #1/#2 recruiting guru under Saban so I don’t really hiring him, but as OC?! Defense has one specific coach (DL) and another “analyst.” Most of his hires are people he’s known thru LA or his playing days. Maybe it’s the way he runs a staff and I really don’t know what the word “analyst” means to him.

I mean, you aren't going to get one of Saban's recruiting gurus to come to UAB for the same job at probably less pay. The only way to pull that person in is to give him a step up in role. I agree OC might be a jump, but given then I expect Dilfer to call the plays, maybe not that much.

Most of the fanbase didn't even realize that BV had an OC.
