Bryant is playing only one non-walk-on caliber player that is over 6'4.

.......and yet, Bryant defeated Syracuse over a week ago. Sort of interesting

Except that Bryant didn't have six players sick a week ago. Completely different.

I was confused by this tweet. I counted 12 players on the bench in jerseys if I’m not mistaken. If 6 players were out due to illness why were there 12 on the bench in jerseys?

Good question, why leave sick people on the bench? I listened to the 55KRC feed, and didn't really see the bench. Just heard that from Dan and Terry.

Yup, Ezikpe was dressed but didn't enter the game, even during garbage time when our walk-ons were in. That's a message from Wes.

kalu has been a disapointment so far. He seems to have the talent but just not jelling. Maybe this can light a fire under him. Sage will be ok but probably best he isn't red shirted now. TIME to buckle down and start improving each game.

I've never been high on Kalu (I was maybe the only person predicting he'd be a 5-10 minute per game guy pre-season), so my opinion may be biased. Burning Sage's redshirt is a major move, I doubt they'd make it if they had much hope Ezikpe would turn things around. Honestly I think a mid-season departure from Kalu is more likely than him becoming more than a 5 minute per game guy at this point. Especially since Ody seems to be developing into a solid backup (though he will struggle with much bigger/stronger guys).

Prior to the season, both Ezkipe and Phinasee were perplexing adds. We had fans trying to be excited about both. Goodness.

I don't think fans that were really paying attention were excited....both very underwhelming transfers....I was excited about Nolley though; he has been a mixed bag so far.

Yea. Most viewed them as depth pieces. Phinisee specifically adding some defensive ability.

RE: Cincinnati v. Bryant
This was a really fun game. I thought we played well on both sides of the ball. Rebounded like crazy. Scrapped the press and worked hard in the half court on D. Got a lot of good looks on offense.

Lakhin has been great this year, and he was unstoppable this game. Is there any way he holds his own against X's bigs? Gotta cut out the silly fouls.

DeJulius was running the offense a lot more, it seemed, and he was very good. I think he missed all his 3s but just one of his 2s, even as he took some tough ones.

Skillings played very well. He was all over the place. Made a couple jumpers too. Really impressive. Reed too, although his D needs serious work. Good to see Tolentino get in there. Great showing by the freshmen today.

Davenport had to have close to the same number of FGAs as minutes played LOL. He made a few tho. Going to need him to be on next weekend.

Nolley was sleepwalking a bit again. He's too skilled to be just a 3 point shooter (he's also not a good enough 3 point shooter to do that). He is a tremendous passer. He got a technical for using the n word while talking smack to a Bryant player. Not sure I've seen that called before.

Ezikpe with 0 minutes. Oof. Hensley had a very nice game. Ody was his up and down self. Sad that Phinisee is hurt, but I'm not sure it's a terrible thing for the team.

Excited to see if this group can step up against X.

I'm not optimistic about X. Just give me more Skillings and Reed. They are the future.
