2022 Football Week 12 @ Buffalo
With nothing on the line what team will show up? Will Lewis throw everything at them by emptying the bench and playbook? Will we prevent Buffalo from going bowling?

That would be fantastic after they cried a few years ago when the game was CXL and they missed a bowl and blamed us. They can blame us or themselves after we win and they miss this year!

The MAC rescheduled the Buff Akr game for next week. That gives them two tries to get bowl eligible.

Just got back from Infocision and watched a kid Lamar Sperling run wild against Massillon in the state semi-finals. 300 yards and four TDs. He’s in Kent State and Akron’s backyard and isn’t going to either. And and it’s not like he was poached by a P5 school. He’s going to Buffalo.

Really explains a lot about Kent and Akron football for the last 100 or so years.

Eh, sucks but would you come to Kent if you were a potential RB1 right now? And I mean that as a compliment to the program. Cooper may be the best back in school history and he can play two more years. Bradford is a very good #2 and change of pace to Cooper...2 more years. Williams can play another year (I think?). And Garcia has looked like a very solid freshman. Buffalo's leading rusher has half as many yards as Cooper and 1 year left. The kid's much more likely to get early PT at Buffalo.

You beat me to the punch, JimJoyce, but on a good note I saw that Kent State commit Freddy Lenix, Jr. of Massillon was able to suit up for the first time since August. As I posted weeks ago, he said that Lewis promised him he could be a running back. No, he's not as good as Sperling, but he is FAST, the fastest high school sprinter in the county last year and he is a pretty good running back in his own right. It didn't show as much as it would have at most schools because he played in the shadow of Willtrell Hartson. IMO he is even better in the defensive secondary.

Perhaps someone with better computer skills can link the Buffalo football practice facility and see why a local product would prefer to play there. Kent State's recruiting will improve once the $6.2 million facilities are completed. Disregard last comment $6.2 million going to Marching Band practice facility.

Brutal. Buffalo must be playing 4 money games.

There could be any number of reasons why a player chooses one school over another. Also, it's possible that Kent State never actually offered, and there could be any number of reasons for that, including as anti-zip mentioned, need. I'm sure Sperling will be a great addition for Buffalo, but let's not get carried away. He has been considered a 3-star player and there is no evidence that I'm aware of that he was actually offered by anyone better than Buffalo. Plus, and again not to knock him, he is running behind a great offensive line at Hoban. I'm sure that he will help Buffalo, but I'm not losing any sleep over his not going to Kent State, as the running back position is in good shape.

Must be for Reghi too since he identified the sack by #14 as being #97....

But no, it's been fine for me.

What a joke. You could tell that was a fumble live. Then no review? Tired of incompetent officals.

You do seem to be in a minority when it comes to Reghi. But who cares we won.

Must be something about Buffalo that brings out nice comebacks in the Flashes. Tommy Ulatowski an unexpected great contributor.

RE: 2022 Football Week 12 @ Buffalo
I have to admit, because I had the basketball game on my tv and the football game on my laptop with the sound off, it looked like it was over at 24-10 midway through the 4th. One time when the feed disconnected, I just left it off and focused on the hoops.
Oops!
Imagine my surprise when I got the final score alert. Sweet!

Do you remember a segment on his KNR show called “Bump and Run”?

It was something to behold.
