Today is the last game for the foreseeable future. A game that personally I feel should continue one way or another. With that being said, I'm glad the Orlando Sentinel did not lead today's news with an article like what was written by the defunct Tampa Tribune the last time the series was put on hold........ and one must wonder why UCF fans have a special place in hell for Temple Terrace

Henderson was a pro-Tampa (and pro-Tampa Bay) guy and would take shots at all the non-Tampa Bay-area teams and programs throughout Florida. No harm no foul, imho. But yeah, that column about USF/UCF is pure comedy gold.

UCF has had many rivals over the years. All of them have been competitive, mostly good natured, against the top dogs in the respective conferences: Marshall, ECU, USM, Troy, Georgia Southern... then Memphis and Cincinnati, among others.

There's never been anything good-natured about the UCF-USF rivalry. There will be a lot of emotions today.

Nothing compares to the War on I-4 for either UCF or USF. Both schools have tons of alumni in Tampa and Orlando. The bragging rights in this game are a big deal. In the Big 12 UCF won’t have a true rivalry game like the War on I-4. Playing this game is good for both schools.
