This team has some potential

This team is far from a finished product, but this team is resilient. We fell apart against Toledo, and hopefully that’s the last time we do. These past two games we’ve had a bad spell where the game could have gone sideways, and we fought through it. I’m very impressed with what they’ve done the past two days.

We have whooped up on Georgia in the second half.

Great second half. Solid team effort. Jelly was awesome but Gaines was also very impressive. Very good win against a pretty decent UGA team.

Really from about five minutes left in the first half to the end.

Outstanding basketball in the 2nd half. Total team effort. HUGE improvement on D in the 2nd half from the 1st. The 1-3-1 loose half court D seemed to click.

Extremely proud of the team and this win. Could be the key to unlocking our nerves vs big conference opponents.

Whew! What a game. One of our better halves of the AK era. This team is nowhere near what it can be but this was a great step in that direction

Our first trophy of the year, it’s an ugly trophy, but we earned it over an SEC team with a great health of basketball. I’ll take it!

We've got about 2 and half weeks and 3 tune up games to get ready for our biggest OOC opportunity of the season against WVU. Hopefully this game was the start of this team starting to realize it's potential.

The 2nd half is what I've been waiting to see from this team. We were clicking on offense and playing good half court D with ball pressure. First good game from Gaines - hopefully that means he's starting to get settled in. We have a lot of weapons and depth. This can be a special team if we can consistently play like we did in the 2nd half of the game.

I didn’t get to watch most of the game but this is the team I’ve been wanting to see..

Very good, balanced effort up and down the roster. Solid win against a pretty good team.

Today he had 14 pts, 8 assist, 6 rebounds and 0 turnovers against a big UGA team. I would say today was his best game so we'll have to agree to disagree. Go Blazers!

statistically, but when you factor in quality of opponent, I'd have to disagree.
