For as Much as I’ve Bitched This Year…
…We just beat pre-season darling KSU on the road, and knocked them out of bowl contention.

Other preseason darlings (Miami, CMU) are on the ropes tonight for bowl contention.

Life is pretty good.

Amazing comeback; team should be fired up and proud. That’s a big-time road win against a good team with its backs against the wall.

In the same boat. As much as I’m still disappointed in this season, it would be great to end it with 8 wins and a Michigan MAC trophy. Let’s finish strong!

RE: For as Much as I’ve Bitched This Year…
I know this might seem funny to most fanbases, but we also still have a chance (with a win and Toledo loss next week) to be co-MAC west champs. Now that doesn't really mean anything since Toledo would have the tie-breaker and go to the championship game, but still not something we have done.

If NIU and WMU can pull their games out tonight we could be looking at half the MAC already out of the bowl picture...it's nice to be in the other half!

I still don't love the offensive play calling at times with the constant Samson up the middle plays, but they have found a way Neathery made some adjustments after the Buffalo game and its been good.

Congrats to the guys. I predicted a 7-5 season. Let's hope I'm wrong and they go 8-4.

Can you imagine a bowl win and 9-4 season?!

I predicted we would be playing for win #8 against CMU.
Really want a 9-win season.

Beat my prediction of 5 wins. Didn't expect special teams to be this good or seeing White emerge. Really thought the defense would have improved more

I predicted an overall record of 5-7 based on past seasons of winning on the razors edge. This season hasn't been any different. Our margins of victory have been quite thin. That's life in MAC football.

RE: For as Much as I’ve Bitched This Year…
I wish people would assess the season when it's over and not go quarter by quarter or play by play. Superfan actually gave up on a game with 7:10 to play in the third quarter of a tight game. He declared EMU the loser at that time in a very close game! The irony of calling yourself "superfan" when constantly bitching about MENS basketball and football is completely lost on everyone. That is the definition of a fair weather fan, not a "super fan." A lot of people act like Chris Creighton is coaching the MAC's most talented team every single game. He isn't but his player development of a bunch guys no one else wanted is off the charts! Tanner Knue, Hassan Beydoun, anyone? I think this team can get to 9 wins-- with an elusive bowl win and that would be an unbelievable season! It has already been a good, satisfying, fun season, let's see if they can make it a great season.

CC might go 8-4 and half the board wants him fired.

I think CC has gone .500 now starting in 2016. While most would Pooh Pooh that it is a major accomplishment here at Eastern given our history and shouldn't be overlooked.

Don't look now - CC is one win away from tying Dan Boisture for 3rd all time for wins at EMU

Dear dansplaining,
Yes, but Boisture was coach for seven seasons, and they did not play as many games then, as they do today. So, Boisture actually accomplished more with less.

True, but since our coaches have accomplished less although perhaps with less (granted).

If CC signs this high school class that has verbally committed so far in December and sprinkles in some transfers and JUCOs and our returnees come back I can see next year being a special one.

Yeah I mean Boistures win pct is .684 and cc's is .419 but its still an impressive feat.

Well there wasn't P5 in Boisture day. How many bowls for Boisture? I don't know how you can compare the two as football today is world's apart from then.
