Gets two minutes in garbage time. Currently averaging a foul per minute. First Rocket to play in the league since Casey Shaw got his 8 minutes a couple decades ago.

The ring/banner ceremony before the game and then being on the same court with Steph, Lebron, etc. has to be somewhat mindblowing.

Looking back on the board discussions, some advocating he should stay in college unless he's a round one to cheering him for making an NBA team with the champs. I didn't then and don't now see that he OR the team would develop near as much if he'd stayed vs. how it has worked out. Nice fan journey.

He did not look great. Forced up a shot that didn’t go, and found a rebound at his feet. Was glad he got in and it made it worth staying up way too late to see a Rocket get in in the NBA!

Crazy that a year ago I thought we were doomed to never have an NBA player when Jackson went to Arizona State

Well it’s hard to look great in two minutes of action in garbage time, first nba game of course nerves played a big part. I was shocked he even got minutes, like I said earlier the warriors are loaded and look like favorites to repeat so I expect rollins to learn a lot and spend a decent amount of his rookie year in the g league.

He’ll be fine. No one looks good in garbage time.

I am happy for Ryan. Someone posted a highlight clip earlier and he looked really capable. He didn’t look out of place at all. Everybody that was playing is an NBA guy. Golden State looks to develop guys like “Wiggins”. Ryan is in great company. If he gets time to develop and play along the way, wow. How great would that be.

was the 12th guy last night. iguodula is out, so he prob slips to 13 when he returns and also 1st round pick baldwin right below him. so, barring injuries he won't play a lot this year, but really cool to make the dressed roster for game 1 and get on the court vs the Lakers.

For the first time in my entire life, I was able to watch a Rocket play in the NBA. Very cool, and I even woke up on the couch right as he was getting minutes.

Looks like GS has officially assigned Rollins to Santa Cruz, their G-League affiliate.

It's great that he got that few games atmosphere. Playing regularly is going to be more fun I'd imagine. Santa Cruz is a nice place.

Not a bad place if you like beaches, palm trees and good looking women.

Who'd want to live in someplace like that?

Looks like Rollins is back up with the parent club, and will be traveling on the current road trip.

Yeah, DeVicenzo is injured.

this coincides with the warriors only reg season game in Detroit which is on the back end of a back to back. thus, expect rollins to get probably his first meaningful NBA run in a few days on his return to his hometown. hopefully, he can play within himself and handle the moment.

Rollins got in for about 30 seconds at the end of the game. Just long enough to have one turnover. Good game to watch though.

Yeah, and that was with Klay Thompson taking the night off, as he is coming off injury and not yet ready to play back-to-back nights. Plus DeVicenzo is out for a few games. Rollins is pretty far away from getting into the rotation.

Can you imagine the view from being on Toledo's bench one year and the NBA champs the next? Wow for the kid. Hope he finds a long term career and handles the pressure well. For now, it'd be cool just to see a photo of him on the bench or playing. Anyone have?
