I'm feeling pretty good about this week. Sure, they're a great team, but I think they are due for an upset.

Every Kent State athlete should thank a football player for getting their brains kicked in so KSU could afford to field their team.

Execute as best we can, and let the result be what it is.

Stay healthy and get back to Kent so we can focus on the other team from Athens Oct. 1.

Unless the Georgia game is an unmitigated disaster like OSU's 77 points against Toledo, they will have played the three money games doing no worse than many P5 schools have or will have done against the three. They certainly did better against Oklahoma than once-mighty Big Ten team Nebraska did. If they aren't going to schedule games against P5 teams they think they have a good chance of beating, they may as well schedule the biggest pay days they can.

Just peeked at the next few years. We have this 3-headed monster the next two seasons. Is this all from Joel's scheduling?

I don’t believe so,and if I’m not mistaken the extensions that Coach Lewis and Coach Sendy signed last year under RR had incentives for these deals so I don’t expect them to be going away.

Ohio State , Tennessee, Pitt , Kennesaw St , Fresno St
UCF and Wagner are All since Randale began I think.
Not 100% positive but pretty sure.
Penn State was canceled originally by Covid and rescheduled right as JN
was leaving.

Fresno St deal includes a payout over 2 years and a
HOME men’ s basketball game next year.

Kudos to Randale on good negotiating and trying to schedule for big
bucks games with a chance to win.

I thought Smart's interview before halftime was a total b!tch move. Put it entirely on his players and said "it's not like we have to change the way we're calling the game. We haven't punted once". So takes no blame, gives no credit to Kent, and puts the close score entirely on his players.
