Local fellow who went to Northview. Went to Kent and redshirted 1 year there, and then transferred to Montana State, but was injured and didn't play. Now heading back to Toledo.

Things must be really slow in Montana for a site to write a fairly long article on a kicker, who is leaving, who is from 2000 miles away, who never played a snap in his 2 seasons there.

2024 WR offer Ryan Shackleford just took his second state long jump state. He also has a 24'8" in the books. Probably the favorite for the 100m against Centrals Lee. And BTW a 4.3 GPA. Probably a long shot, might go track with that kind of jump. So far the usual competition, Morrow (why even bother saying Kentucky), WVU, Kent St, Army. Don't doubt a small matter of time before Iowa St.

I see 24/7 has moved our class up to first in the MAC again. Something like number 52 overall. And Rivals has us at the top also. Somewhere like 49 overall. I might be off on the overall but it still shaping putto a good class. Even if Candle doesn’t know how to get the best out them

Whitmer's Sr QB just barely two months after first picking up a shot, took second in states. We can't find a place for a 6'1" 300 lb QB? For that once every 4 years you're down 5 with 4th and 99 to go? Actually, the kid can sling it and is rather mobile. I think he's headed to one of the smaller Ohio colleges. Maybe he'll switch to track?

The rest of the incoming freshmen are now listed on the roster, except one - Stephen Gales, the only offensive linemen in the class. Any news on him?

Also, the 2 Ball State transfers are not listed yet.

Only 14 scholarship OL's on roster. Thin number.

I just don't see us putting up a lot of points this season. We could have a great team. I've stated in other threads that I think JC really likes this team talent-wise. He's said so. Fortunately the D should be loaded.

Perhaps the BSU players are still clearing NCAA issues... or not.

Looks like UT is adding another QB, in 6'6 Matt Considine
He's had quite the travel ... Walked on at Wake Forrest, and stayed 2 years, barely playing any. Transferring to Holy Cross for 2 years, played all of 3 games. Last year, transferred to Saginaw Valley State, where he had stats of 49% completion, 5 TDs to 10 INTs in 5 games. okaaay.

QB room was unusually thin, given UT has apparently moved Wesley to WR and Smith to DB. Leaving: Finn, Gleason (9 total attempts in 2 seasons (UT & GaTech), walk-on Gucciardo (1 game played, 0 attempts, in 3 seasons), and true FR Richter. Don't see this signing really improves the depth much.

Didn't know where to put this, but Maurice White, a 6'5" 290lbs pass-rushing DT from UofMemphis (originally out of Detroit and VERY close friends with Daquan Finn) just entered the transfer portal. Had 3.5 sacks in 6 games last year before an injury.

Originally committed to UT but both parted ways. No info to clarify what happened. He could be a nice addition. He was a tweener 3 years ago at 6'4" 235 but not fast or twitchy for edge. He could help UT at DT. We have depth but could use more.

We need help at WR/QB and maybe Oline. Quite possibly entire O
