That was a great game. In typical fashion the Memphis big man "gets" in foul trouble in NCAA game.

Always been that way. Should have won that one.

That move where you back away with your hands straight in the air never worked for Lee, Bedford, Wright, Massie, Dorsey, Black, Duren...

Started with Kenon against Walton.

I think we left Dandridge in too long, and left Duren on the bench with 4 fouls too long. I agree Dandridge should have played more earlier in the game, but Duren should have played the long late stretch. Penny took Duren out of the game, let him foul out then play Dandridge late. I don't think Dandridge has the condition/ability to play long stretches. I think the first time Dandridge isn't able to get back on defense a timeout should have been called and literally put anyone else in to cover the 5. We had all the pieces to win that game, just think they weren't played properly late in the game.

The whole point should have been moot. Both Holmgren and headband should have fouled out and Duren and Dandridge should have had a couple of fouls each. Highway robbery, we beat them fair and square.

But it wasn't

But they didn't

But they didn't

But we didn't

When I look back on this game --I PRETEND we won by 28--then I feel better
Did Old Miss play Gonzaga too?

RE: Anybody watched the Gonzaga game again?
Dandridge played as good as I have ever seen him play and he definitely rose to the occasion. The problem was either he was out of shape and/or his knees. I tend to think he was just gassed. Which - leads me to believe that if his body holds out and he gets in shape we can see great minutes from him this year.

Note: What I actually know about the issue is below miniscule.

Drew Timme played the entire 2nd half. He doesn’t look like the poster child for fitness.

Best game of Malco’s career.

Actually I remember a home game against Cincy a couple of years back where MD was near great.

We were the better team.

Unfortunately, they had by far the best player who did what great players do. We didn’t give them anything, Timme put his team on his back and took it. Tip the hat to the kid he was a fantastic college player.

Yep

The dude has a whole lot of Christian Laettner traits about him.
