White House Falsifies the Official Transcript of Jill Biden's Gaffe-Fest 'Taco' Remarks

Quote:Looks like the White House is at it once again — falsifying the historical record and the transcripts of what Joe Biden and his team say.

On July 8, Joe Biden appeared to have a “Ron Burgundy” moment during his remarks about his abortion executive order, seemingly reading the teleprompter when he said, “End of quote. Repeat the line.” Then the White House Assistant Press Secretary, Emilie Simons, insisted on Twitter that Biden had said, “Let me repeat the line,” although that was untrue, given the video that exists of the event. Then, after Simons said that, the official White House transcript falsely reflected that he said “let me” when he had not.

Although they did acknowledge Biden didn’t say it on video, Politifact seemed to be running a little interference for the White House.

Politifact also claimed Biden said “let me” in other parts of the speech. So? I’m not sure what that’s supposed to mean. He didn’t say it in this case. Politifact additionally noted that the White House showed them a teleprompter file that included the term “let me.” Given the fact that they’d falsify the official transcript, I’m not sure I’d trust that any “file” that they show me hasn’t been altered.

Bottom line? He didn’t say it, so why is the White House putting out a false record of the event? And media should be calling that out, not trying to softball it.

But we have a new case now to deal with the Biden team falsifying the transcript.

On Monday, we reported on Jill Biden’s gaffe-fest comments at the “LatinX IncluXion” luncheon at the UnidosUS 2022 Annual Conference in San Antonio. During her remarks, she made the following comment, as we reported.

“But we can’t get those things on our own,” Jill declared. “Raul helped build this organization with the understanding that the diversity of this community — as distinct as the bogidas (sic) of the Bronx, as beautiful as the blossoms of Miami, and as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio — is your strength.”

Jill Biden describing “bodegas” as “bogidas” got a lot of attention and a lot of mocking. Not surprisingly, she also got called out by Hispanic journalists for trying to compare Hispanic people to “breakfast tacos.” But this is just part of a pattern of problems that the Biden team has had in their outreach to the Hispanic community. It’s like they’re trying to insult people and lose their vote. Who can forget this golden moment from Joe?

But now the official transcript is out for Jill Biden’s comments at the luncheon and we have another problem.

Here’s what the official transcript says:

Notice they say “bodegas,” not “bogidas.” So once again, we appear to have another clean-up effort on something that isn’t even a question — we have the video, we know what she said. She did not say “bodegas.”

I get that Jill Biden is “She Who Shall Not Be Crossed,” but she said is what she said, and the White House is now deceiving the public with this, as well as deceiving history when they don’t properly reflect the record. If it isn’t called out now, they will keep doing this. But imagine them lying about something which has already been so widely reported. Once again, they have no conscience.

Breakfast tacos were not a thing growing up. I don't remember them in college in Austin. I thought it was something Jack in the Box came up with in the 80s. So I looked it up. Apparently San Antonio started it.

"...But no city holds more righteous anger toward another than San Antonio has toward Austin. The venom is such that I’ve reduced it to a historical joke: The course of Tex-Mex food in America is such that it originates from the Rio Grande Valley, gets discovered in San Antonio—and then Austin takes all the credit for it. It’s a simplified, not-entirely-accurate equation (after all, fajitas went to Houston, while Fritos headed off to Dallas), but every time I tell that joke in the Lone Star State, people laugh. Hard. Even in Austin...."

Look like they are just something in Texas?

Quote:This Lone Star culinary treasure is quite simple – a tortilla stuffed with traditional breakfast ingredients, depending on personal preferences: processed yellow cheese, pork, and eggs are just some of the most common ingredients used in the preparation of breakfast tacos.

However, there is a huge food fight regarding this taco variety, with Austin and San Antonio both claiming the dish as their own. It is speculated that breakfast tacos were a staple in San Antonio a long time ago, but locals used to simply call it breakfast, while Austin had given the dish its current name.

With a dish so simple and delicious, shouldn’t we agree that breakfast tacos are simply and truly Texan?

Never heard of them till Jill brought them up.

Common yes. She meant the diversity of offerings. You can get a breakfast taco 200 ways in Austin/San Antonio.

This is some next level pearl clutching. Hit me up when someone actually (and I type this sitting in San Antonio) from here gets offended by that and I'll hear em out.

Since you're a white guy I'll help you out. In no way is it ok to relate a traditional cultural food with talking about a human being even if you claim...but I'm a Democrat.

I'll help out "Dr." Jill Biden for next time. Don't say to other minorities, hey I bet you love the democratic party as much as fried chicken. God these people are so racist.

Meanwhile Hunter is calling his dad Pedo Peter and has the fbi agents all in his phone. Same guy that also uses the n word like his dad.

Univision Drops Some Hilarious Taco Memes on Jill Biden

Quote:It’s Tuesday and Jill Biden seems to have stepped into a taco mess after making embarrassing and offensive comments about Hispanics at the UnidosUS Conference in San Antonio.

As we noted, she not only went to a “LatinX IncluXion” luncheon, she said “bogidas” rather than bodegas and compared Hispanic people to breakfast tacos in their uniqueness.

That did not go over well. Hispanic journalists blasted her, saying they were not “breakfast tacos.” Then some Hispanic politicians, including Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Rep. Mayra Flores (R-TX), and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) had a little fun with her. Rubio posted a new profile picture of a taco.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) — the guy most likely to succeed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in the speaker’s position in the next term — had a great response, commenting on “taco inflation.”

The attention finally caused Jill Biden’s office to issue an apology on her behalf, which was a lame apology since she didn’t make it herself.

But Univision may have the best collection of hilarious taco memes to drop on Biden, in addition to a good report on the controversy.

Univision also observes that this comes at a time when the midterms are approaching — meaning this isn’t going to help Democrats — a great point to make.

The White House failed on this big time when they even falsified the official White House transcript of the remarks.

Meanwhile, a Washington Post reporter says it’s “worth noting” that before Jill Biden made her “taco gaffe,” “her entire speech was read and signed off on by the White House offices of intergovernmental affairs, legislative affairs, and public liaison.”

Seriously? And no one saw the problem with comparing people to tacos? Plus, this kind of continual ignorant pandering reveals they don’t understand very much about Hispanics or people in general.

People tend to like results, not pandering to them. What people across the board are seeing is that the Biden Administration doesn’t get it when it comes to a raft of issues, but most especially inflation. That’s one of the reasons why so many Hispanics seem to be turning their noses up at the Democrats in the polls at this point.

This ^^^too is a bunch of Schiff. What people call breakfast tacos are just "burritos de huevo" with whatever you want to add to it. You can add chorizo, jamon, jalapenos, weiners, Schiff, actually anything you want. It wasn't invented that late in history but as a 74 year old man I can tell you that we were eating them then and my older siblings and relatives were eating those "breakfast tacos" before they became mainstream.

They became mainstream because they were easy to make and delicious which was the reason "WE" were eating them before they became part of a fast food menu item.

RE: "as unique as the breakfast tacos in San Antonio."
As for using a food item as a slur word it's been done for ages. When I was in the military if you wanted to insult a hispanic you would call him a "taco or a taco bender". It was the same with the other ethnicities and Blacks. I used to get kidded by my "friends" by being called a "taco bender" but don't think that I would keep quiet, I had a few slurs of my own to throw at them which were food slurs too. It never became a fighting issue because we were friends and we were just riding each other.

I think that "doctor" has just lost what remaining Hispanics the Demons were relying on in November and 2024 to vote for them.

LOL, what a bunch of pendejos.
