What the general public know and care about:

- Economy was great under Trump and all we had to deal with was mean tweets and foreigners' contempt.

- Literally everything Biden has done helped ruin the economy and now foreigners make fun of our leader instead of disliking him.

So here is my theory....

The "committee" is not responsible for calling to prosecute. They are merely laying out a narrative for Merrick Garland to consider prosecution. We all know that MG has all of this information in his pocket and had it long before the cameras came on a couple weeks ago. So that begs the question - Why hasn't MG pursued Trump given all of the "damming" information?

My theory is simple - it is the goal of the Dems to keep Trump from running again. Until (if) Trump says he is running MG is going to sit on this. If Trump does decide to run, MG immediately brings charges which basically neuters Trump in any bid for President. MG can stretch this show out for months and deep into primary season if needed.

It seems overly simple, but I think that may be the actual end game for the DOJ and this retarded committee.

If your theory is the goal the best way to neutralize this is for the Republicans in the House to conduct a complete investigation of Jan 6 if they win the House; include investigating what federal agents were doing there, what role did House and Senate security conduct and know leading up to the events and Pelosi’s role in all of this. The problem is republicans actually conducting a real investigation is hard for them to do for some reason

I think we all know who Trump is and that he doesn't give a damn about anything but himself, but perhaps some of the former officials who featured in Ms. Hutchinson's testimony do actually believe in democracy and do still have a conscience. Her coming forward makes their cowardice even more pathetic, if they continue to hide behind Trump and refuse to cooperate with the committee.

As Chairman Thompson said, the committee's doors are open if someone has found some reservoir of previously undiscovered coverage. Time is running out for the former members of this disgraced administration to go down on the right side of history, and perhaps the law as well.
