Wonder if they have done anything similar at the AUBC, Sentara Park, Fieldhockey field etc

I mean, school let out this week, and it's 3 months until fall sports tip off. Can they get a couple of weeks to do the work?

Beers tend to go really quick in my hands, not sure that's the adjective I'd be using. 04-cheers

Definitely looks like a patch job as the grass around the logo is dark green.
For anyone that has seen it in person, what color is the actual logo? It's different than the previous JMU SBC (purple top half and gold bottom half. Is the whole thing purple? It looks like part of it is black.
I think it looks great on the field... just wondering what it actually looks like in person as it's been really hard to tell from the angles shared so far (no offense to the picture takers).

I don't think he was accusing JMU of being slow, I think he was genuinely curious if the other fields are on the same timeline or if they are pushed back given we aren't technically not SBC until 7/1 and there is still time before seasons start.

I'm assuming AUBC has been empty for a while and spring ball just ended a few weeks ago so I wonder if the AUBC has already been updated. I could also understand that the field needs to be down prior to 7/1 to ensure it's fully ready for summer camp to start in August so it was given priority over the empty AUBC. Given the photos were taking by a random person walking down the DHall steps and the AUBC is indoors with limited access and Sentara Park doesn't get the same visibility as an on campus field, its a fair question to ask if anyone has noted work on the other athletics fields/courts (esp as I don't think JMU is going to openly flaunt new logos for a conference we haven't technically joined).

AUBC has not been empty. It's used quite a bit, including all graduations last week. The court is packed up on pallets at the moment.

I didn't get that either. I thought it was just a question.
I think the AUBC may take a little more time as it's either going to require a new paint job or possibly JMU wants a brand new floor.
Personally I would like to see a new floor design, but I'd be okay if they just put down the SBC logos on the current court.

I was just curious if they had started replacing the logos on the other facilities yet. Still is plenty of time till July 1 and until fall sports and practice starts, just curious. Understand why BFS was done with the camps and whatnot, do the other sports offer summer camps also besides basketball and football? Think baseball and softball do, not sure about the other sports. If so would have to work around those schedules to get the logos and whatnot changed out I would think.

I want to know who's gonna sneak into AUBC this weekend to see if the court is finished and post photos. Sean said new floor expected to arrive Friday, but it might take a little time to install.

nice. I do know that the CAA flag was taken down at the AUBC, so there's that.
