Big weekend for basbol (no kiddin')...College baseball is just about the only NCAA sport that gives us a fight'n chance, and proves programs such as Mis'sippi Southern can compete nationally given a semi-level playing field.

Just wanted this board to have a little life...

I'm here and lurking most every day.

Baseball has slumped it's was right out of hosting talks. Hopefully we finish really strong and get back in.

One of the things I keep hearing is do we want to host and possibly get a strong group or would we prefer to be a 2 seed at a weak Regional...

I'm going with host for $1000 Alex

Thing is, they don't seed 2 seeds, so you could just as easily get shipped to Knoxville just because it's a reasonable distance.

You always host and just hope for the upset, which happens a fair amount in baseball anyway...

After humiliating MTSU on their home field, looks like hosting is back on the menu boys!

Yeah, I would think we host as long as we don't go 0-2... a tourney championship and we could very well be looking at a top 8 site.

Would love a National Seeding. That would be huge.
