Tigers in the USFL
Lynch looked pretty bad. I hope he gets better. It's interesting watching Brady White follow Todd Haley around. I hope he learns everything he can about the offense. I can see him as an offensive coach someday. Maybe even a Tiger again.

Lynch may become the biggest pro bust in Tiger's history. Has all the tools and the size. But not the work ethic needed.

Not every star college QB can make the transition to the pros. The pro game is faster than college, and the offenses/defenses are more complex. Successful college tools do not equal successful pro tools all the time.
There is no shame in not making it as a pro. He still made a few million bucks...and that's a win in anyone's book.

I cringed watching him. Threw an interception and also fumbled.

what was bad on the interception
was that the ball did not have any zip on it
and he was known for having a strong arm

This was posted last night. I haven't been able to find anything this morning other than 'apparent lower leg injury'

No qb has had zip on it apparently the ball is garbage and weighs more because the technology in it. They already announced they are going back to regular balls for all kicking.

Paxton Lynch started last week for Michigan and was QB for 16 of the 24 pts they scored, getting a TD run and a 2 pt conversion run himself. He suffered a sprained ankle during a run (later I think) and went out before half. His passing was 3 of 8 with a couple of drops.

He did not play in their game Friday and was in a boot.

I forget about these games every weekend. I watched opening weekend and was mildly impressed. What is the primary network carrier?

It bounces around, some on Fox Sports-1 or -2, or on the local Fox affiliate. I think some have been on the NBC affiliate, too. Maybe that was a one-time thing though….

I like being able to hear the play, but why don't defenses stream the audio into the Mike's helmet.

Panthers cut Shea Patterson and Lynch activated from injured roster. Maybe he will get some playing time this weekend.

RE: Tigers in the USFL
Sun June 5 Lynch was 27-40 for 251 w/ 2 TDs and 2 INTs, plus 1 rushing TD and 1 fumble, QB rating of 80.3, in a 46-24 loss. He was QB for 16 of their 24 points in their only win several weeks ago before he injured his ankle.

Sunday, the opposing QB Cookus was 20-26 for 247 w/ 4 TDs, 0 INTs,, 118 rushing yds on 4 attempts, a 79 yd rushing TD, QB rating of 145.4, so Lynch's decent performance was greatly overshadowed.
