RE: Here we go again...
Instead of hiring a management consulting firm to conduct "inward" research/survey about WMU employment, they should hire a firm to do some "outward" research/survey's regarding Branding/Marketing/Enrollment!

At this point, I'm afraid I'm completely done with this administration. Their core mission was to handle the enrollment crisis and they completely failed on that front. They have only managed to anger the faculty, staff, and alumni.

If your really interested why not send letters where it might count?

Pretty sure Dr. Haenicke’s corpse is still available for a Weekend at Bernie’s-type administration…

It's teacher's unions. They're upset at everything all the time.

I don't believe there was this much discontent prior to Montgomery -- I'll defer to broncofan1 here. I do believe the faculty/union understand the enrollment/financial crisis. The way this administration is approaching it doesn't seem to be working for the faculty and staff.

I can tell you this, while we are spending money we don't have to spread this awful rebrand around campus, CMU is killing us in marketing around the state -- I've seen this first hand on billboards, internet ads, and TV commercials.

I think we all need to start composing letters to the BOT...

CMU has lost 43% enrollment over the last decade. They aren't exactly killing it.

Also of note, even though they lost 43% of enrollment, the teaching faculty has remained the same. In what real world does that make sense?

Trust me, I know CMU has been bleeding to death -- even worse than our current state. My point is, they are currently beating us at the marketing game while we sit idle using our funds to cover old logos/symbols all over campus...

WMU needs new blood in all areas. Leadership, faculty, marketing, etc.
The only thing positive I can see going on is updating the campus.

As a brand, what does WMU stand for/represent in a very challenging market?

No leadership. No vision.
