First, that's his perspective. He is spinning it some way that makes him a victim - it's the name of the game.
Second, he doesn't say "asked to leave". He may lead you there, and you may make that assumption. But he doesn't say it.
Why do you feel a need to trash the kid and try to make it look like Penny he is completely innocent?
This is a business now. The kids wanted to be paid, the kids wanted freedom of movement, the kids wanted to be treated like pros and they got exactly what they wanted. What they did not anticipate is that they are essentially no longer amateurs. And they have coaches with millions of dollars at stake with their own careers and ambitions.
Because of that I have no problem with Penny running his team like it is a business. If kids do not perform up to expectations then they have to go. If kids are a problem in the locker room and disrupt chemistry then they have to go. I have no issue with Penny pushing players out given the current state of "amateur athletics". They wanted all of the good stuff and with that they have to take the bad stuff as well...
Where did I trash the kid - by saying he's playing the victim? And where did I say Penny was completely innocent. Lighten up.
I have no problem with YOUNG MEN - Landers is 22 years old - moving on and doing what they think is best for their careers. Now, depending on where they end up, I might declare them persona non grata (as is the case here).
The funny thing that I do call out is people jumping on his statement like it's the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. But feel free to believe everything a player says as he's leaving.
Read your posts. It is never Penny truly pushing them out. It is always the players demanding playing time or certain promises/assurances and Not getting their way so leave.
And lighten up? Because I posted something in disagreement with you?
Dude I was the one reminding you in the recruiting forum that Penny quit contacting certain players. Of course he changes direction on players - which you and Landers camp might call "pushes out".
I'm just pointing out that you take a tweet and run with it - like it's the ENTIRE story.
I say lighten up because you take a post that said he likely wanted to be the center of the offense, and said I was "trashing the kid".

He has to defend no matter the reason...
Seems if you don't say something positive he takes it as a attack on Penny so he needs to come to his defense.
And it's great to have you "Keeping it Real" kids here to put things in perspective.

Interesting spin on the conversations... You consistently show you just live in a very black/white all or nothing world with an inability to for anything in between.

Interesting how you and a couple others analyze my posts to put me in a box. And in the end, you're always wrong.

I didn’t realize Landers came out and provided an updated status he was in fact not pushed out and just trying to make himself a victim… But Of course, black and white - right and wrong opinions…

“Pushed out” boo hoo. We have posters who say they will be done with the Tigers, if it’s true that players have been pushed out. I say good. Take your ball and go home.
Meanwhile, Penny is about to land another stud or two.

Lol
You posted it, why don’t you provide the link. It’s in one of these thread topics, probably the Tyler Harris one. It’s there, unless you deleted it.

Or lack of reading comprehension... There is a drastic difference between disagreeing with an opinion while realizing we are both just stating an opinion (the gray) and claiming one opinion correct and one wrong as it if is a factual set of circumstances we are discussing (the black and white).
