What Are Your Expectations for 2022 Football?
My expectations for our SBC debut are...

1. No less than 9 wins regular season plus a bowl win.
2. For coach Huff to show he has learned from his rookie mistakes.
3. A true leader at QB and a leader on Defense.
4. No breakdowns and losing a game that we clearly should have won.
5. Offense always scores over 30 per game.
6. Defense that doesn't give up 3rd and long SMH.

What he said. That would, indeed, be a good outcome for Huff’s second year. I see losses to Notre Dame and two from in conference games.

At the very least, 8 wins. I just want to see some of Huffs recruits start to make an impact.

All I want for Christmas is our CB's to turn their F****** head around and look for the ball.

Who do we see as the front runner at quarterback right now?
Pennington?

I hope Pennington is about 4th. That is because he is good but we chose other recruits based on higher expectations. So if he is 4th-ish we're going to be good at that position.

That said, I'd be okay if he came out slingin' and won the position.

They'll probably have growing pains, like we did last year, with new coach and missing key people. They lost a lot. We lost our QB, but he could be as much of a liability as an asset. And having them at home, I'd say we'll be favored a good bit. But, we've all too often blown favored games before.

“Can’t” Wells was a head case. Not as bad as “Erase” Litton, but a head case nonetheless.

Doc's last three QB's all had leadership and maturity issues.

Probably, but the West has gone through 2 straight years of the Cajuns basically not losing a league game, We'd like to see them lose to someone just to prove we don't have to go undefeated ourselves to win the division.

This season is what will show if Huff has it or not. He should have his system fully running and hopefully we take a step up.

If Huff's system is to win by having the most motivational cliches, we should be national champs.
