2022 Mid-Term Elections Thread
A white male Trump supporter ousted a woke Democrat white female: after just a single term as Norman’s mayor, Leftist Brea Clark was defeated in Tuesday’s runoff election, by a vote of 53.4% to 46.6%.

Norman mayor-elect Larry Heikkila

Quote:"For far too long, the citizens of Norman have been victimized by the overreaching of the extremist council,” said Heikkila, who carried the backing of Norman’s Fraternal Order of Police and campaigned on increasing funding for the Norman Police Department.

Clark was the youngest woman to hold the mayor’s office when first elected in 2019. Her tenure saw an unsuccessful recall attempt and death threats over coronavirus restrictions and the city council’s decision to divert more than $865,000 from a proposed police department’s budget increase to pay for social services to help the city’s homeless, mentally ill and other vulnerable populations. Norman was the first city in the state to implement a mask mandate."

From a national perspective, each one of these “little” elections is like a grain of sand on the political beach. But taken altogether, they really do point towards an absolute meltdown for Team Blue in 7 months, unless some major event intervenes in the meantime.

Would a plan-demic and voting irregularities by the truckload be considered major events?

Schumer is already talking about a new variant in a few months. It'll be just in time for them to try to steal the mid-terms by the same means as they stole the presidential election.

Which means republicans better have a plan to defend against such moves. They didn't in 2020, and we all saw the results. Will they in 2022 and 2024? I doubt it.

And herein belies the whole dilemma of the Regressives. Their think tank has given them a Jim Jones type of man made religion that you have to be all in on. Anyone who disagrees is turned on and ridiculed. They have shown America their true colors and they simply can’t walk back what they see as progress no matter how many American pawns they trample over to achieve their goals. For anyone who has any common sense and isn’t easily persuaded or led by a nose ring it’s sickening to watch on a daily basis. But to their credit in elections they NEVER REVEAL themselves and DO NOT talk about their agenda. It’s all about bringing folks together and smearing your opponents. Don’t look at us look over there and see what they have done. We have some Regressive posters on her that have mastered the art as well.

Schumer, Biden & Pelosi would love to have a Shanghai style lockdown placed on Americans. They’re already shown you who is boss. Deal with it.

Wins in CA (an R area the R's running up the margin only 40% white) & GA (suburban Atlanta) as well. R's running on 'far right' platforms

RE: 2022 Mid-Term Elections Thread
I think Dems are going to cheat on the bigger races and not sweat the little local ones as much. It seems many election integrity laws recently passed by R legislatures don't really have teeth...more just for show. What the he77 are drop-boxes even allowed? No public access to actual ballots to be inspected after elections, no signature matching, no prosecution of election fraud...just a lot of talk but very little action...and the compromised local, state and federal judiciaries have and will seemingly continue to almost completely ignore the crimes, dismissing case after case without even a fair hearing or allowing much discovery. Meanwhile, the cheaters (Dem Party wonks and RINO complicitors) just go on stonewalling and ramping up their machines to cheat eve bigger and better this time. We might well be surprised how little changes in November, unfortunately, though I hope I am wrong about this. No actions to show otherwise, though, so I'm probably being realistic. Most of the legal voting citizens in the country still demand a full audit and examination of the 2020 election steals and want the illegal installed results set aside and the illegal officeholders removed and the perpetrators jailed and hanged, and continue to push at their local precinct meetings for this to happen no matter how long it takes.

On the WMU board they're talking about Fred Upton just announcing his retirement. He was one of the few R's to vote for impeachment. Everyone fearing a 'Trump cult member' will be elected to replace him.

One can only hope!

The D's are scared guys. R's that run on Trump politics are winning elections. Let's keep the movement going!

They wouldn't be so scared if they weren't seeing it.

Careful there Bronc. Forum rules say that you are not allowed to make gratuitous mentions of Donald Trump.

Oh wait, you’re a fan of his. Never mind.

Some of the new ones could and should be paid for their services to the DNC. Every single thing they say is in service to the progressive agenda.

RE: 2022 Mid-Term Elections Thread
Yesterday, there was an election for a state-assembly seat on Long Island. I’ve never heard of an election taking place on a Thursday in the U.S., but anyway, that happened. Only about 8,000-9,000 people voted, but for what little it’s worth, the GOP candidate won by about 66-34 in a district where Trump beat Biden by about 52-47.

Yeah, I know. Annoying, ain't I?

Back in high school I used to keep my unwelcome thoughts to myself. Although not myself one of the cool kids, they at least let me hang out on the perimeter. But God forbid if I ever speak up on something that went against the grain. If I had, I've been labeled an untouchable and no cute girl would ever have given me the time of day. (Not that I had much success on that front anyway.)

You Trump worshippers, cool as you are, don't have that power over me. I finally managed to marry a cute girl, and she is still with me 37 years later. (But, just to be safe, I won't tell her that most of the cool kids on this forum think that I'm dogshit.)

See, here's the thing, UMSU - - and this is very much on topic for this particular thread: there is a red tsunami of coming our way in November. It has been a long time in coming. It is more than warranted. And, frighteningly, there is one man who can single-handedly stop it.

You can tiptoe around the s.o.b., if you want to remain part of the cool bunch on this forum. You'll be in good company if you do. Or you can do what I suspect most of you know is right and acknowledge him as a dangerous threat to our nation.

Your call.
