They played last night at Miami, they play tomorrow in Dekalb and then host NIU on Saturday. That is followed by a Tuesday home game with UT before finishing things up vs. Kent at the MAC Center.

Per ESPN Buffalo 11-4 in MAC and 4 games left. NIU twice , Toledo,,KSU.
That means they only play 19 games. Schedule calls for 20?
Could be interesting problem at MAC office.
I never like Kent’s odds in those situations. We definitely need to beat them next week.

Buffalo had three MAC games postponed. Apparently, one will not be made up. It looks like the game not rescheduled was a game at CMU. Interestingly, KSU's three remaining games are against teams they lost to earlier in the year,

So basically if we can take the next two, then UB has to win out to pass us. Any loss would mean they'd be, at best, tied with us in the loss column and we'd have one more win. We really need to take care of business in the next two. The fact that these were our clunkers should help motivate us. Can't let a below .500 team beat us at home and end out win streak in the same season.

I don't think any of the three remaining games should be considered a "sure thing". Buffalo is good, and CMU only lost to Toledo recently by two points and NIU beat Akron recently. Sure, KSU should be considered the favorite in all three games, but they are going to have to earn wins.

It just seems like we have 1 more loss this season. If my addition is correct we will be looking at winning 15 in a row in order to win the Championship. Hard to wrap my head around. That would be amazing and this team is full off amazement.
BTW, we will be a tough team for a few years. COGS

This team has amazed me on many levels down the stretch of the season. But I still say Kent's Achilles remains its production inside and along the baseline. Winning three in three days in Cleveland is going to require at least one game where inside play has to step up more than it has so far this season.

In my opinion Garcia and VCD have to deliver some games where they combine to produce 20 points and 10 rebounds and I don't think they have combined for that total once this season.

Yes, the MAC is a guard league and guard dominant. And when Gio has it going along with Carry and Jacobs that is indeed a handful. But again, three games in three nights on the larger NBA court -- something has got to give.

One plus for Kent - it's defense has-can-and-will-be the X factor. But again, the physical toll playing Kent's brand of defense - three straight days - will exact a toll by itself.

Not trying to be a debbie downer; would be a real hoot for a team few expected to be much better than .500 a month ago to win it all. Just saying based on past MAC Tournaments (see Kent, 2017) baseline play at least one game could be the difference between NCAA and CIT.

I can't even guess what will happen in the MAC tourny, KSU is certainly capable of beating any of the other seven teams, but they are all also capable of beating Kent State.

Larger NBA court?? NCAA and NBA. 94’x 50’. 10 ft Rims.
Arena may be larger. Court the same size. MAC has its own floor for tourney . Cavs floor is not used.
MAC often closes upper deck in CLE. Nobody will be in awe of arena size.
At end of day sight lines no different than Convo in Athens, Ball State or NIU arenas .

I assume the court at the MACC is the standard 94' X 50', but that isn't necessarily so, as lots of older college facilities have slightly smaller courts. I also assume that the NCAA regulations set a standard for the minimum size, too, but I couldn't find it.

Haven’t measured it myself but info I was told is it is 94x50. As you know lots of room on all sides when seats are up.
When new lower seats were installed they had every opportunity to make the size regulation. I was involved when new practice facility was done 2-3 years ago. It is definitely 94x50.

What the heck happened to OU? Getting blown out in Kent was one thing, but now getting blown out at home to Akron. A win tomorrow and KSU holds #2 seed, at least for a while.
