RE: Lomax
Some of those shots should count as turnovers.

BUT he has been playing well. No one plays harder than Alo. He is far from perfect but he has plenty of strengths along with plenty of weaknesses.

I think that was more about what happened before he called the TO - Cincy's guy had thrown up a horrible shot that was going out anyway, and ALo went for the ball & got an out of bounds call. He should have just let it go. Thankfully he immediately stole it back.

Yep, that crazy 30 footer he let fly in the second half was head scratcher. But he had a solid game for sure.

Here's one that will drive them crazy...
Penny is undefeated against Houston when Lomax gets 25 minutes or more.
GP...Take that for data.

RE: Lomax
Kendric Davis is showing you the talent a PG should possess.

Ability to score outside, inside. Off the dribble. Etc.

Ability to score when the team is in a scoring drought. Memphis starting PG had just 2 points.... got a few hoops in garbage time when down 20 and the team was scoreless for 7mins.

That's not going to get the job done come tourney time (considering they make it)....

Exactly. But those that don’t know winning basketball will defend him. He is our weakest link and always will be.

Davis is likely the conference MVP.
Everyone wants a Davis on their team.
Lomax was not the problem yesterday.
Get a new shtick.

Reading comprehension. Learn it.

Who said Alo was the problem... yesterday? Point is, he didn't take over either... defensively or otherwise and is often outplayed despite his supposed defensive prowess.

PGs do takeover when a team struggles to score. If he had the talent he would've tried to do so during the 7 min drought.

He doesn't possess the skills of a PG at this level. I actually hope he returns next year as well because this is quite comical witnessing the debacle and if you're not going to be successful at least provide a laugh.

There's a reason everyone questioned the coach at the start of the season regards to the PG spot. He's not enough given the aspirations of the team. Cal suffered one season w/o a talented PG but was smart enough to correct that. Going on year 4.. 5 with Alo....

LAST 4 GAMES
25 Assists
4 Turnovers
6.3 Assists per game
1.0 Turnover per game
6.3/1 Assist to turnover ratio
35.2% of team assists
6.2% of team turnovers

In the last 4 games we have 65 total turnovers which is an average of 16.3 per game. Lomax has 4 of them. 4 turnovers out of 65.

No matter what else I may think... ALo plays his ass off. It is rare to see him not giving max hustle.

The art of timing. Learn it.
After 1 loss in the past 3 weeks - of which A-lo had very little to do with - is not the time to bring up an old agenda that has gone stale.

You're talking about the recent game against SMU where he only scored 2pnts before garbage time while being outscored 25+ by the opposing PG??

Lol if that's what you consider having little to do with then good for you. Lmao.

Hopefully after he shuns the ladies he can help more offensively being the man who's always left unguarded because the defense ain't paying the bills. Playing against a team who had zero shot blockers in the starting lineup (6'5 and shorter).... should've had a field day penetrating and scoring in the paint.

Sorry, ladies! 03-lmfao03-lmfao

RE: Lomax
Had little to do with meanwhile as he only had 2pnts his man had 25. Ended the game with 27pnts.

Mr. Lomax after the game:

03-lmfao03-lmfao

Btw, this after playing SMU a second time and having 20 piece dropped on the hustle/effort the first game
. And no it's not just Davis going off. I posted other games where this happened. One would think after watching film of the first SMU drubbing, the defense/hustle would pay off.

I hope he can get focus though and start taking what the defense gives him. Gotta do more than dribble past halfcourt and pass. *Shoulder shrug*.

I have spoken. Signing out....
