RE: Men's schedule after postponements
So, legit question here, how is it that coach can be around folks at his Monday show today, but we couldn't play tomorrow? Doesn't seem to be much logic there

Or, today when the game was originally scheduled? But, we're not supposed to ask questions of the authorities like this. Be careful....

I hear you man. I'm a common sense guy and i struggle with things that don't make logical sense. Thus, this whole thing has been a struggle.

It was definitely all jokes. Just looking for something to discuss other than Covid postponements.

We have had 7-8 years of really good games with UNCW until our coach was fired. We are now on the long road back from where that decision put the program. The previous regime was in the race for Phillips. The Seahawks got a really good player. This is going to be a big down year for the Tribe. Even 6-12 would be a shocking finish given how poorly we played in Nov. and Dec.. But, the team is super young. Basically we have no junior contributors and the only 2 guys left from the Shaver regime are seniors who haven't contributed much so far due to injury and unavailability.

We will see how it goes. Getting Harvey back hopefully will help y’all. I saw the Hampton game and some of the Huskies game. It looks like the Tribe has improved.

TEN games in 21 days! That's more than half our season.

Jan 17 at Charleston
Jan 20 at JMU
Jan 22 at Towson
Jan 24 at Northeastern
Jan 27 Northeastern in Wilmington
Jan 29 Hofstra in Wilmington
Jan 31 Drexel in Wilmington
Feb 3 at Elon
Feb 5 at William and Mary
Feb 7 at Hofstra

I'm afraid this insane schedule is going to catch up to us on the back half. These idiotic covid postponements are a huge disadvantage for those that had these impositions. I hope it doesn't happen, but this is a brutal schedule.

RE: Men's schedule after postponements
Other teams have the same issue here and I think that should help -another thing that is a puzzle is that fans wear masks and players don't ? Literally makes zero sense to do this at all if that is the deal .

RE: Men's schedule after postponements
I stated this in the Northeastern thread, but as I was reading ScribeHawk's coverage, I noticed how he described them as fatigued. We're not alone in this as it is affecting others, but Towson and Delaware seem to be in better shape, especially Towson. They don't have any Monday games in February, whereas our first "break" is not having a Thursday game on 10Feb. The first Monday we get off is 21Feb.

Elon, JMU, Hofstra and Drexel are benefitting since their last game was Saturday and they won't play again until Thursday. We haven't had a break like that since we restarted CAA play and won't have a break like that until the season is over. It's almost like they are getting a bye week in the middle of conference play when nobody else is.

Walked to the door at the Delaware game and decided to leave after seeing everyone wearing masks. For the record I am not anti mask or vaxx but just didn't feel like wearing a mask for two plus hours at the time so we left . Mask and Covid fatique is a real thing for us at this point but I will not protest or act out like a fool about it . Looking forward to the day that this is all behind us and going to games is just fun again .

Most people have taken off their masks once they reached their seats. Nothing is said. Well, except when 08 anounces it as a public address. But that's his job. So there's that.

LOL. I'd love to hear '08 call out Hoops to put his mask on. 03-nutkick
