Lives in a retirement community, under lockdown for basically over 3 months now but now kept to her room. She has memory issues so our family has to hire basically a babysitter to make sure she doesn't go out of her room to infect more of the elderly.

Sorry to hear. Hopefully she will come through this okay.

Appreciate your good wishes Tom.

Grandma Estelle tested negative from a test yesterday! She will go back to her regularly scheduled Manhattan drink routine momentarily.

My first cousin spent a couple of months in the hospital.

A week after coming home he has passed away from heart failure.

COVID? Not really, but he probably would have had a few more months or years without it.

Near the bottom of the first page and on the second things get serious quickly.

Please pray for one of my coworkers. She has been put on a ventilator, but is having a hard time keeping her oxygen level up above 81.

Please pray for my girlfriend's sister and her husband. They both have it, but seem to be recovering.

While you're at it, you might throw in one for my girlfriend, too. She fell off a ladder (had no business being there, but I'm not going to tell her) and broke her wrist. Needs surgery to insert a screw and plate.

God love a hard headed woman. I'll say a prayer for her Owl

COVID19 VIRUS: Cited News Only, Prayer Requests for Patients, No Commentary
Well I had so much fun with delta back in September I decided to try the new omicron variant. So far it's a night and day difference. This doesn't even feel like a bad cold. Went to the doctor for a sore throat and they did a rapid.

I should be good but say a prayer for my wife. She's almost 4 months pregnant already worried cause she's a school nurse that is around this stuff everyday.

Just found out I tested positive for Covid despite having the vaccine. Now, it's just praying I can make it through the lack of income being forced out of work for a time and from being able to conduct our errands. What's worse? Today's my son's 3rd birthday, and I'm afraid to be around him.

Chin up, this too shall pass. I won't tell you to go hang out with your son, but my daughter is 2 1/2 and was barely phased by delta in September and just has a bad stuffy head from omicron.

Get yourself some flonase if you get stuffed up and dayquil/nyquil. That's worked for me.

Agree. When I got delta in March both kids had fevers and were mopey for a day and that was it. My ass was down for a week with 103+ fever 24/7. Covid is no match for child immune systems.

I don't have a fever yet. Hopefully not at all. Mine is the original alpha variant--the novel version--SARS-CoV-2.
