In a boxscore full of impressive numbers, here's the one that jumped out the most to me: 9 turnovers.
That led to more shot attempts, fewer fast break points the other way, and increased confidence. Well done, Seahawks.

Here's the thing. This is a fan discussion board. If you never make a prediction, if you never go out on a limb, it's easy to ciriticize others who do. And it's also easy to make this kind of statement when you've never actually contributed to a discussion. Gray seems like a fantastic UNCW fan. Loyal and true. But he/she is not a discussion board type. I think most of the contributors here enjoy the back and forth, the discussion and even being wrong sometimes. And if it weren't for these discusssions and the people making predictions, criticisms and praises, there would be no discussion board.

It’s all good 82. You did a good job calling wins during this win streak. Hope we can keep rolling!! Go Hawks!!

Hah!
Yep. Unless you make your prediction out loud, you don't get credit for it if it comes true!

Yes sir! That's how it works. And eating crow when we are winning is easy to do. I'm glad i was wrong, the ship appeared to be headed for the iceberg and the staff has managed to turn it around and that has led to a hell of a conference start. In regards to Sims at PG, I'm still indifferent, but it's worked, so roll with it. I'm not sure how much of the success on offense is because of that Vs. The movement on offense. Even in the win streak, we have seen some lulls on offense when the movement stops.

Exactly. Gray does seem like a fantastic UNCW fan. The loyal and true part is still to be determined. Over the years, we’ve seen discussion board “posters” who were loyal and true to certain coaches or players, and when they left the program, so did that poster. The tell tale is usually how much they contribute to discussion beyond just hyping up a coach or player. Just saying. There’s precedent for this type of thing. Those of us who have been around for years aren’t blind or stupid.
We’ve had a few instances where player family members post, we’re great contributors when we were successful, and then turned on the team and disappeared when their son, nephew etc left the program.
We’ve had coaching staff members do the same thing. For thos of us with specific access? It’s not hard to figure out. For those without that access, it’s a little harder but we also know who posts during the games and who doesn’t… wink wink.

Looking at statistics without watching, season statistics disagree. You average 0.45 points per two-pointer attempted and 0.48 points per three-pointer attempted.

Season statistics will be deceiving. Look at this last 5 games.

You can’t go by season statistics for UNCW right now, because there were significant shot selection changes that have occurred in the last 6 games vs all the games prior to that.

I totally agree with BHawk06.

I've made predictions. You just have to pay attention to them to realize it.My predictions aren't on a game by game basis.MY predictions have been 100% about this head coach ,coaching staff and their capabilities when others, yourself included have thrown out some pretty outlandish statements about them after a loss. You get kudos sunce you seem to need them for some good game predictions man. I just wish folks would be a little more patient when things go awry (and they will) Its a game, the other team wants to win as bad as us, and sometimes its just not your night. That does not mean the guy in charge doesn't know what he is doing.
