Georgia vs Bama Thread
Coach Fickell on the pregame show. Pretty cool. He mentioned playing Memphis multiple times one year with regards to Georgia and Alabama meeting up again in the same season.

RE: Georgia vs Bama Thread
I am not great at predicting but for some reason I think Georgia wins this one.

I guess I'd prefer Alabama to win because the loss UC had to them would look better.

Everyone said in game #1 Sabin outsmarted Smart. Now they think GA wins. Do they think Sabin will not be able to outsmart Smart again?

Roll Tide.

I think Sabin is the better coach. Alabama might be a little beat up. I wouldn't be surprised either way. Georgia definitely isn't as good against the pass as UC was. Alabama is down Metchie but has alot of targets.

I'll be interested to see how Alabamas run game looks tonight.

Betting against Alabama has not been a winning strategy in the Saban era.

Calling back the fumble return was bad for Georgia. Although Georgia had a player likely offside.

It was clearly the right call.

His arm was 100% moving forward.

Counterpoint: a 360 pound guy was moving his arm forward.

Do the rules say it matters?

Alabama throwing the ball all over the place on Georgia. Too bad they dont have their top targets at WR. Keeping it close imo.

Georgia getting a ton of breaks. 1st Bama possession, Billingsley falls and they have to settle for a FG. Then Williams gets hurt which is a ginormous loss for Bama's offense.

Then the WR from Bama just dropped a pass which would have been 1st and goal, and then Bama gets their FG attempt blocked.

Big run by Georgia-- chance to take the lead.

Missed the blocked kick. Will this already be the most field goals in a championship game?

Try as they might, will Alabama ever score a TD?

Guess so.

Lol-- by about 2 millimeters, Bama recovers a fumble. Guess it was Bama's turn for a little luck.

RE: Georgia vs Bama Thread
Bama getting a lot of pressure--5 sacks---- but that hasn't stopped Georgia from throwing deep----- I think that's 5 deep attempts, with 3 catches, and 1 PI. The last leading to a Georgia TD as they retake the lead.

I hate both teams--- this game frustrates me, bc I thought UC could have played so much better offensively vs Bama. Georgia is doing to Bama what I thought UC would do--- take some deep shots-- roll out the QB-- a few designed QB runs--- getting the ball out to the TE's and RB's.

I'm still trying to figure out how both teams can lose--- that's the only acceptable outcome for me.

If the call on field was fumbled out of bounds I think it stands. I have no clue how they called that a recovered fumble on the field. Replay was inconclusive either way I thought.

Great response by Georgia to play aggressive on O. Should be a great ending. I switched rooting for Kirby to get his first. I like Georgia more anyways.
