Men's schedule after postponements
Absolutely ridiculous schedule and a huge disadvantage for the Hawks' with four of their first five conference games rescheduled. And this is before the Tribe game is rescheduled.

TEN games in 21 days! That's more than half our season.

Jan 17 at Charleston
Jan 20 at JMU
Jan 22 at Towson
Jan 24 at Northeastern
Jan 27 Northeastern in Wilmington
Jan 29 Hofstra in Wilmington
Jan 31 Drexel in Wilmington
Feb 3 at Elon
Feb 5 at William and Mary
Feb 7 at Hofstra

Men's schedule after postponements
Let’s be honest with ourselves. At the rate this stupidity is happening, the William and Mary game won’t be the last one postponed.

It could easily end up being worse than last year, which I thought was impossible. God I hate universities these days. The only thing that keeps me attached is athletics.

But don't worry, we will be 100% sniffle free for our next game.

RE: Men's schedule after postponements
Two kids from our neighbors school in the hospital over the weekend-both at home now and much better . Heard this morning that the at home test is way better than the nose swab deal that I have had a few times and is like a roto rooter stuck inside your head . These games will get played hopefully and some sort of common sense would be great going forward with this . We went to Trask for the Delaware game, got to the door and left after seeing everyone wearing masks and just didn't want to deal with it .

Are you all still playing Elon on 1/11?

If so, W&M should try to play at your house on 1/13.

Masks are needed to get in the door

Once in there is no mask police

Everyone knows it’s a doorway thing. That’s where everyone I know got it.

RE: Men's schedule after postponements
There is no way on earth to reschedule all these missed games. Basically 1/3 of the season cannot just be squeezed into the existing dates before the CAA tournament and the NCAA tournament.

Most of them probably never got unwell.......... That's the reality of this round. Nothing more than the sniffles for most. Think about how many winter Basketball seasons we'd never get through if we stopped every one when someone got the cold?

RE: Men's schedule after postponements
The lone bright spot to all of this is now all of our remaining home games will be in front of the students.

Hopefully the students have been paying attention to our stronger play of late and will bring the volume when the team returns to Trask. If not right away, then perhaps continued strong play will create the energy in the building.

The fans who filled those student section bleachers against Delaware certainly did an admirable job. There were several "De-Fense!" chants. And every time Coach Siddle requested more noise, they gave it.
