new coaches
Has anyone heard anything about the coaching staff vacancies? I have heard Ryan Pugh's name regarding o-line vacancy. Pugh is currently at Southern, after spending time at Troy, BYU etc. Haven't heard anything about Craddock's replacement.

RE: new coaches
Pugh would be huge if he can pass the background check. He left Troy to take a job at Baylor, but then a picture of him in blackface came out and they pulled their offer.

He'll have to reconcile that with the players, but I have zero doubt the guy can coach.

I was aware of the Baylor situation. Since he's at Southern (an hbcu), I'll assume he has been able to work that out.

RE: new coaches
There’s a local news sports director in Mississippi claiming to have sources that say Reeves may be under consideration to replace DJ Durkin as Ole Miss DC

Just to rub salt in the wound, Matt McCants followed Owens to Georgia Southern

No chance, Reeves is too clean for Kiffin to consider. He's replacing Jeff Lebby & DJ Durkin, maybe there's an escaped convict he'd like to hire.

Don’t think McCants is going anywhere. Where is this info coming from?

At one point I think McCants intended to stay so perhaps GSU upped the ante.

Yeah, you definitely have to read between the lines to figure it out. Fortunately I am very discerning.

RE: new coaches
Well, Matt McCants is staying at UAB after all. Apparently Coach Clark made it worth his while to stay. I know that he was at a staff meeting this morning, and if you look at his twitter page, he has changed the background image back to UAB. That's a very good "get" by Clark to keep him in Birmingham.
