UCF got the ball back. Hopefully they can do something again on this drive.

Yea. A lot of this win was schemed by gus. They ran all over them. Had and great pass calls that could have made this a real blowout if qb could hit a pass beyond the line of scrimmage.

How is this possible against a P-5 team from the SEC. Oh yea, they did not all come to play or take this serious.

I know Florida is a mess but that's a nice win for the UCF program. They'll enjoy this one.

Why not fly Memphis back to take TAMU's place instead of letting Rotgers? The game is 8 days away.

They probably would have if the announcement had come just a few hours earlier. Really poor timing for Memphis and a gift for Rutgers. Literally the best bowl Rutgers has ever played in.

Side note - It's probably a good thing Memphis and Hawaii aren't actually playing a game. They'd need to call in the national guard for that one.

Rutgers won just five games this season on its way to yet another, consecutive losing season. What was the rationale for choosing a perennial bottom feeder from the B10 for a major bowl game such as this?

Maybe TV believes it will pull viewers from the NY market. I think not. Maybe Indiana turned them down? 05-stirthepot

Also, congratulations to UCF. I know Florida is down, but any win over the Gators is cause for celebration. The Golden Knights have some impressive bowl victories in their relatively short history. Time for our Bearcats to get one next week.

Because literally every team .500 or better was already in a bowl game and by the time this occurred fans had bought tickets, booked hotels and teams had made all their arrangements.

When there are not enough teams to fill the bowls (.500 or better team) they go by APR of 5 win teams and Rutgers had the highest.

RE: Bowl Season
Former Bearcat Jayshon Jackson has a 56 yard reception for a touchdown today for Ball State.
I guess it makes sense to speculate that Miami's Ivan Pace Jr. ( Deshawn's brother) who entered the transfer portal will be a Bearcat next year.

Georgia State up 48-13 after three. Looks like the MAC is going to take another L. Still a couple more MAC teams left to play but Miami could be the only MAC team to win their bowl.
