Gochneaur was the #2 behind Hill, wasn't he?

Maybe he was, I just remember he couldn't pass either. lol Jimmy Skinner the only other QB to attempt a pass that season.

Losing your QB hurt, but the WKU defense is vastly improved over the last 4 games

Oh, come on. Losing Wells was the game. Once we couldn't sustain drives and keep your d on the field and rest ours, our d got gassed and made you all look like world-beaters. Until Wells got hurt, you were on the ropes...period.

Zbum couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a bass fiddle and we became completely one-dimensional.

Seriously? We haven't had a 1st down since our QB went down and some of you clowns are ....

Well, we told you what Zippy was all about!!

Give me a ******* break!

If our D wasn't on the field for 90% of the 2nd half it would have been a different game. You guys were down by more then a TD when our starter went out right!

Tops appear to have the top team in CUSA right now. How many players return next season?

I stated a few days ago that we might lose this game, but Marshall would have to score 35+ to do it. And who knows, they might have if their QB hadn’t gone down. I did know that our offense would kick in gear at some point.

Poor coaching all the way around WKU walks in a poorly designed fake onside kick. Terrible coaching all the way around for Marshall. Va Tech, just ignore tonight's game you really do want to hire Huff he'd be a great one for you.

WKU has struggled in the 1st quarter in 6 of our 12 games this year..scoring 7 or 0 in 1st quarters 6 of 12 games. We have been a second half team all season. Teams look like world beaters against our passing game and then run out of steam. They get gassed trying to cover our receivers. With that said, Marshall losing their QB definitely changed the dynamic but Zappe and our receivers were bound to start clicking. The game's not over so I'm not counting this one yet though. I really felt it would be a war after Marshall jumped up 14-0 but we have been down in the 2nd quarter in several games this year but ended up making a game of it
